and attributes; development of algorithms for automatic
text placement and symbolization to facilitate the production

Assisted in the development, installation, and training of; an automated map publishing system; data entry and verification tools; quality control tools; a pipeline tracing with valve isolation application; a raster image retrieval system allowing users to view scanned maps, other raster images, and other objects using simple map based queries. working with hydroulic analisis software ( WaterCad ) to design HPP Area at Alexandria with diameter above 10" to improve the pressure and demand in this Area .

GIS Engineer for the water utility for the beheira governorate;
responsibilities included preparation of the pipe network for use in hydraulic modeling; day to day tasks included all facets of the development of the GIS base map, including the digitization of survey maps and facilities, the correction of the database, editing of data, and adding annotation layers; developed a hard copy map production system.
Specialized work relating to hydraulic modeling included the topological editing of the pipe network, preparation of elevation of demands, incorporation of field pressure measurements, and use of the model for both calibrating and alternatives analysis.
