• Prepare and update project master plan comprising administrative tasks, staging, progress status of all ongoing jobs and tender inquiries.
• Gather information on material procurement, work progress, mobilization and testing & commissioning phases and prepare progress reports.
• Prepare project submittals in terms of shop drawings and materials and secure approvals.
• Assure compliance to overall construction processes and operating practices for the MEP construction industry, as well as prevailing MEP codes of practice, local authority regulations and specifications.
• Ensure that project ITP is followed and monitor approval process.
• Participate in the testing and commissioning process in coordination with the project parties.
• Manage the engagement of the independent commissioning agent.
• Track project changes and produce updated site based schedules and coordinate technical meetings.
• Interface with the supervision consultant and other engineers to resolve construction problems.
• Ensure that all international/ local standards are adhered to for the construction.
• Provide technical assistance to construction teams as needed.
• Supervise the installation of Electro-Mechanical systems on site.
• Coordinate with government authorities to collect data and ensure incorporation of the same in the design.
• Schedule the project based on time interval, cost and quality.
• Interface with vendors and negotiate supplies in terms of cost and quality.
• Oversee all matters related to construction quality assurance of E/M works.
• Ensure that all Electro-Mechanical site activities are conducted under controlled conditions as per shop drawings, method statements, specifications and work plan.
• Supervise utilization of resources in construction to achieve maximum productivity.
• Evaluate field installations and recommends design modifications to ensure proper system installation on site.
• HVAC systems - Air cooled chillers, AHUs, FCUs, Exhaust fans, Chilled water systems, Recovery water system.
• Plumbing system - Sanitary drainage, Process sewer, Storm drainage, Hot and cold potable water systems.
• Firefighting system (sprinkler system, FHC, fire hydrants), Firefighting pump set, Irrigation pumps, Water booster pumps, Chilled water pumps, Recovery water pumps, Submersible drainage pumps.
• Steam generation system - Steam boiler, Condensate recovery tank, Condensate pumps, and Purified water generation.
• Compressed air system - Air compressor, Air dryer.
