Part of the team who led the development of the new age system for the retail and contact centre based on the MARS System backend
Tasked with setting up the entire infrastructure for AirAsia India.
This includes setting up the network, hardware, software etc.
• To manage/support the Commercial Systems.
a. The Reservation System and the Booking Engine.
b. All Revenue Management System Modules.
c. All Reporting Systems and Departure Control Systems.
e. All Online Travel Agency Interfaces
f. All Payment Gateway/Facilitation Solutions
• Guide the IT team to ensure the above mentions systems are bug free and support deployment of new releases/fixes.
• To monitor system for revenue dilution/loss and process violations.
• Analyze and improve business processes based on industry standards.
• Manage vendor relationship.
• Identify and prioritize enhancements, take them through the Change Management Process and get them implemented in systems
• Manage system configuration, behaviour and User Access Rights as per industry standards like PCI-DSS
• Set up triggers and alerts in system to monitor and prevent revenue loss
• Manage system acceptance and roll out responsibilities and its implementation.
Streamline Support Services
Liaise with various Airlines on software requirements and enhancements required.
Assist in product release.
Assist in setting up new airlines.
• Managed/Co-Managed several prestigious Radixx accounts
• Participated and conducted various product (Radixx Reservation System) online demonstrations.
• Trained Radixx’s African Business Partners AAM (African Airline Management based in Randburg, South Africa) on the Radixx Reservation System, GDS and the Support Process.
• Trained Bahrain Air (Kingdom of Bahrain) and Sprit of Manila (Philippines) on the complete Radixx Enterprise Application, Radixx Air .Net DCS and the Travel Agents Web module.
• Trained Eznis Airways on the Radixx Reservation System using Goto Meeting Web Application.
• Provided frontline support to Asian and European Radixx Clients.
> Part fo the Customer Service Dept.
> Worked in the Group Desk to Streamline Group Quotes and Rates and handle Queries from Travel Agents and Travel Management Companies.
> I was the only one during my time in IGT to be cross trained for Group Desk (Group Reservations) and Customer complaints and Quality Analysis.
Developed Automatic Hierarchy Builder for Verilog based Digital Design as a training project and this was implemented in general use in the company
The aim of the project was to build a skeleton program in Verilog using specific parameters.
Participated/hosted and won prizes in Extempores, Quiz Shows Was the School Student's body President Was the Editor for the fortnightly Magazine - Blossoms
