Assumed the delegated role as “HOD” to plan, procure, prioritize the raw material / spare’s procurement schedules according to the production plan by aligning cross functional aim and by working in partnership with the production and sales departments. Manage import consignments and local logistics in pipeline. Implemented and conclude the preferred strategy to achieve departmental goals by taking timely decision, setting short, medium & long-term targets. Tailored system of allocating goal oriented assignments to support staff on day to day basis that includes the follow ups / feed backs and task completion “WIGs”. Contributed to material planning at a strategic level.
•SUZUKI MOTOR - SSS, Pak Suzuki
Responsible for making all purchase orders for replacement parts to Pak-Suzuki Motors on prescribed integrated computerized format. Day-to-day reporting on inventory turnover, to maintain the stocks levels of all Suzuki Models / Vehicles
I was responsible to improve efficiency level in the procurement department and to maintain inventory. Core responsibilities encompassed inventory management, procurement, import document control, SCM. I have independently completed entire procurement of extension project of caustic soda worth eight hundred million rupees. This includes the civil work, fabrication jobs, rubberizing and logistics.
I have been doing purchasing for mechanical, electrical, civil and general stores. Responsible for dispatching tools and machinery dispatches at various project sites.
