Develop the HROD policies, process & procedures by covering all HROD functions and ensure that this policy is aligned with laws and Actionaid global standards.  Participates in the extended SMT meeting to maintain an awareness of HROD matters relevant to the extended SMT.  HROD monthly reports and information are submitted and brought to the attention of the SMT on a monthly basis prior to the monthly SMT meeting.  Supports the Operations department to provide inputs to HROD related activities.  Assist the Regional Director to develop the HROD strategy and organization structure to facilitate delivery of the organization’s strategy  Recommend to the Regional Director and SMT any changes that might be required to develop or improve the organization  Develop, implement, review and update the action plan to implement HROD strategy for country program to the alignment the strategic plan and with the HROD strategy.  Provide inputs to the development of proposals to ensure exact information of HR is reflected.  Review staffing requirements with SMT.  Responsible for succession management planning for key functional staff.  Involve in the recruitment and selection of all staff to ensure the compliance of recruitment and selection policies and procedures  Provide orientation and reorientation to all staff to help them understand the HR systems, policies and procedures of the organization.  Provide support to all managers and staff in performance appraisal to make sure the completeness of performance appraisal as scheduled, and provide comments to managers and staff on performance appraisal results if needed  Work with Managers to identify training needs and development opportunities for all staff and develops annual training plan  Provide training to all staff on HR policies and procedures when required  Review and monitor the payroll calculation and payment to ensure accurate and timely payment of salaries and benefits  Participate in salary and benefit surveys, and analyses data.  Ensure all exit interviews are conducted with leaving staff to get comments, feedbacks, and suggestions. Cooperate with Asia HR Advisor, conduct internal audits to evaluate HR administration and present audit findings to the SMT to identify areas requiring attention and ensure audit recommendations are implemented      Act as focal person for Arab Region for SHEA & Safeguarding. Develop, monitor, and update the annual budget for human resources. Develop, monitor, review and update the HR activity work plan. Keep up to date HR information and data to provide regular reports and analysis to the Regional Director and SMT to facilitate continuous improvement of AA Arab Region Office Oversee the maintenance and update of all HR related databases.

- Preparing contracts for the staff and volunteers in Jordan and Syria and tracking all details related to the contracts.
- Update the HR system and keep the HR database up to date.
- Complete and check that all files are in order and according to Auranitis handbook
- Preparing the PVS data for the employees
- Preparing, collect and check the time sheets (attendance sheets) and any other required documents (contracts, pay slips, Administrative decisions, etc..) from the donors on monthly basis.
- Filing & scanning for some HR documents.
- Implementing the recruitment policy from the vacancy announcement to the hiring of the right candidate in the required position (Job announcement, screening the applications, interviewing the selecting candidates, and hiring the right person) for Jordan and Syria offices.
- Preparing the payrolls divided by the regions according to the payroll policy.
- Coordinating the workflow regarding the HR department with the operation manager and the HR officer in Syria.
- Following up the donor’s requirements and needs.
- Preparing the part of human resources in any budget for any potential future project.
- Creating any job description for any new job and updating the existing ones.
- Tracking the staff any required training and development needs and planning to provide it within the available HR budget.
- Handling the employees complains inside Syria and Jordan, trying to solve it with the best solution and creating a healthy culture and environment within the organization.
- Following up the employees’ health insurance issues and any other employees’ needs and requirements.
- Coordinating with the Finance department and the project manager regarding any project activities and budget requirements, updates and issues that related to the HR.
