Responsibilities
Assist the Managing Director on matters related to corporate and transformation strategy including planning of next steps to achieve company vision and monitoring of strategic projects & initiatives and special projects.
Develop and oversee the good implementation of the Demand Side Management strategy and action plan for end-use efficiency mandated under the Price Control for AADC. It aims to guide AADC’s efforts in reducing consumption of resources, conserve budgets and social value and address global climate change, reduction planned to reach 15% by 2020.
Coordinate all regulatory related issues including price control, license obligations, review & approval of Annual Information Submissions before transmission to RSB, development budget, review & submission of CAPEX and subsidy, reward & penalty based on company performance & obligations.
Participate in corporate performance management including top of the sector peer group benchmarking at the international level, establishing & reviewing targets and recommending action plans.
Coordinate outsourcing of services, appointment of consultants and acquisition of talent to meet corporate strategic requirements.
Contribute to organizational excellence initiatives including review of award recommendations and writing submissions for SKEA & ADAEP and ARABIA Corporate Social Responsibility AWARD.
Review all reports submitted to the MD’s office and provide required comments & summaries to the MD.

International Relations - Led a delegation to Europe for building links with peer organizations for sharing of knowledge & best practices. Focused on companies in UK since UK has a regulatory framework similar to UAE.
