• Work in cooperation with the Group HR to plan, develop, and implement strategies for HR management and development including; recruitment and selection, policies/procedures, discipline, grievance, counseling, pay, contracts, training/development, succession planning, performance appraisals and quality management issues
• Plan, manage, and control allocated HR expenditures within agreed budgets
• Drive a customer focused service mindset that achieves the highest standards of customer satisfaction for the internal and external customer
• Identify individual learning initiatives that facilitate employee development and ensure that leadership development meets the current and future needs of the overall company strategy
• Manage new hire orientation and on-boarding experience, assist in the creation of internal company career paths, identify high potential individuals, and retain new talent
• Identify learning needs and employee competencies through talent assessments in order to fill key skill gaps
• Measure the effectiveness of all learning and development programs, monitor and report training data and statistics, and focus on improving employee abilities by strengthening the skill set of the existing employees
• Foster a working environment that promotes a learning culture consistent with corporate objectives and values
• Maintain and implement comprehensive personnel and payroll systems, including payroll processing, leave administration, employment conditions, recruitment and selection administration
• Strong knowledge on KSA Labor Laws and immigration rules by staying up to date regarding changes in KSA Labor Laws
• Maintain strong & healthy employee relations by facilitating conflict resolution and addressing employee grievances in order to secure fair and unbiased working environment for all staff & labors
• Investigate and taking disciplinary actions against the safety violations, misconducts, long absenteeism in work place
Point of contact for all key account customers which includes Panda, Al Nahdi, L’OREAL, Danube, and Tamimi Supermarkets
• Conduct manpower analysis, budgeting & timely recruitment from local & international markets and reference checks
• Compliance with Human Resources strategy with professional approach to meet the organizational needs
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, and observe local rules and regulations in line with EEC policies
• Manage the general administration for staff onboarding activities
• Oversee workforce optimization & control interim positions using local manpower supply companies
• Evaluate jobs & salary grading alignment for JV partnership companies
• Coordinate in all administrational activities relating to air tickets, medical insurances, and benefits administrations
• Support external training & development as per the allocated budget
• Enhance the work life balance & motivate employees for maintaining exceptional retention rate
• Monitor HR expenses v/s HR budget. Study reports received, check and communicate discrepancies
Book available freight in a cost effective manner
Source and negotiate with carrier base to move available loads (Truckload, Flatbed, and Inter-modal)
Communicate effectively with carriers and build carrier relationships
Build strong liaison relationships with XPO’s customer base
Maintain reliable communications with customers regarding changes in pick-up and delivery schedules and potential service failures
Quote customers on new lanes when requested
Recommend process improvements and implement once approved
Maintain and update accurate information in company’s operating systems
Assist in P.O.D. retrieval
Prospect for leads to build a pipeline, including cold-calling. Maintain accounts to retain existing relationships and grow share of business
Create quotes and sales proposals for company services
Set up and go to face-to-face meetings with perspective clients in order to gain the partnership
Determine pricing decisions, supplier selection, and timing through service negotiation with customers and carriers
Manage multiple projects simultaneously with a sense of urgency
Analyze the market trends on a daily basis to determine supply and demand in order to maximize profits while still providing exceptional service
Set up new carriers in our database in order to increase carrier selection
Review existing carriers to ensure all necessary paperwork is current
Build and Maintain relationships with carriers to increase net marginal revenue and service
Negotiate pricing with carriers based off of daily\weekly marker trends
Identify problems in advance in order to proactively find solutions to avoid costly service failures
Effectively communicate problems to customer sales reps to ensure the best solutions have been met
