As Supply Chain Manager for Arrow, a sourcing facility for Carlsberg’s nonalcoholic malt drinks (Moussy & Holsten), Overall responsible for Procurement & Logistics (Inbound & Outbound) functions which includes direct & Indirect materials categories and supply chain operations. Managing a total annual spend of 50 million EURO. Main responsibilities include:
•Supplier’s sourcing, negotiating annual contracts for Raw and Packaging Materials, Consumables, MRO, Facilities Management, Transportation and Capital Investments.
•Managing local & international vendor performance (VMI, Lead Times consistency, supply risks)
•Driving forecast inaccuracy and coordinating materials planning and implementing JIT
•Managing raw material & Finish goods warehouse, loading, off‐loading & optimization the space.
•Budgeting yearly prices for materials & services, driving budget controls and reporting variances
•Managing import clearance process, driving reduction in freight, demurrages & detention cost
•Development of efficient flow of procurement process P-P (Purchase to Payment process)
•Monitoring rolling forecast, driving forecast inaccuracy and Make to order Production planning
•Negotiating all spend, accumulating & reporting cost avoidance & savings achievements for SC
•Coordination in new Product development, leading supply chain with respect to sales promotions
•Monitoring RM Stock Coverage, spend analysis & identifying variances & potential saving areas.
•Customers order management, booking to delivery, and outbound logistics (Local & exports)

- Successful Transformation of Decentralized purchasing into centralized.
- Accomplished annual savings target of 2 Million SAR from various categories
- Reduced advance payments by 20% in result of negotiation with key suppliers.

- Sourcing for Indirect Materials and services ( Maintenance repair and operations, Capital
Construction Project, Investments, Facilities Management including security and Catering).
- Securing in time supply of materials, ensuring the right quality and Reducing the cost.

- Developing purchasing policies for the organisation, ensuring that process flows and
authorization routines are being followed from raising material requisitions to sourcing of
supplier, ordering and delivery to final payment.

minimize the advance payments and better controls on cash outflows.

after thorough short listing process, tender analysis & negotiation of project cost by 5%.
- Identified saving potential of EUR 900 K by identifying many local solutions.

- Sourcing, Contracting and Negotiating new factory raw materials and Indirect Materials
including Civil, mechanical, electrical, Facilities management. and Transport.
- Lead procurement part for the new factory project and developing new suppliers database for in
time supply of the required materials with right quality and at the best price.
- Spend Analysis and updating Budgeting as per market for the factory project buying.
- Risk Analysis and minimising risks for the new factory supplies.

ordering, shipping, customs clearance and delivery in stores.

- Dealing with Ministries, Customs, Banks & Clearing agents for both Sea & Air.
- Lead Procurement for the green field project, builting new pharmaceutical factory.
