• Organize and control of Wire rod straightening shop planning. Plan prepare notification / PR for spare parts and materials.

•Inspection of Samco / Saac 2 years spare part as per SPIR ( Spare parts interchangeability report ) and use of drawings.
•Working as material Engineer with responsibility of creating new materials / amendment of the existing materials in SAP for Tasnee stock items.
•Technical evaluation of the vendor’s quotation for five plants of (PDH/PP/LDPE/HDPE/Ethylene Cracker ) Update and amendment of material spec. Liaison activities with end user, buyer and logistics to effectively complete the procurement cycle.
•Inspect the PP expansion 2 years spare parts as per the specification and GR processing in SAP
•Monitors / expedite Spare parts and tools on order.
•Closely expedite procurement for delivery of zero stock items and tools.Confirm delivery date on priority basis. Communicate vendor performance to procurement.
•Coordinates with Project Engineering and Finance department for disposition of all surplus material.
•Responsible for review of the MRP lists and to take appropriate action for stock replenishment to support smooth plant operations with suitable ordering and planning techniques that will optimize the inventory and minimize the total cost.
•Check on-hand stock and analyze MRP elements like open Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Orders, Reservations, ROP/Max and consumption data to determine the re-order quantity.
•Analyze min / max stock level (safety stock), Review Minimum lot size Lead-time and update it wherever necessary.
•Recommend changes to inventory Min/Max based on demand and supply analysis.
•Arranging materials and creating PR using SAP for major shut down jobs. Preparing T/A materials requirement status report for weekly meeting.
•Process of identifying obsolete materials and to provide guidelines for obsolescence.
•Identify Repairable Materials and manage the process control requirements.
•Technically evaluate quotation and help in placing Purchase Order.
•Continues reviewing material specification and finding Duplicate stock number in the system if any.
•Development and continuous improvement of MRP process and use of ERP system.
PHYSICAL VERIFICATION AND DATA COLLECTION OF SPARE PARTS FOR ALL STATIONARY AND ROTATING EQUIPMENTS.
VERIFY AND STANDARIZE SPARE PARTS MATERIAL SPECIFICATION DATA BASE USING SAP R/3
FIXING THE INVENTORY LEVEL ON THE BASIS OF MATERIAL CRITICALITY, CONSUMPTION, UNIT PRICE, LEAD TIME AND MATERIAL DELIVERY.
COORDINATE WITH PURCHASING DEPARTMENT OF PLANT SPARE / CONSUMABLE / TOOLS.
WORKING AS MATERIAL ENGINEER WITH RESPONSIBILITY OF CREATING NEW MATERIAL STOCK CODE / AMENDMENT OF THE EXISTING MATERIAL IN SAP FOR IBNZAHR STOCK ITEMS. TECHNICAL EVALUATION FOR THE FIVE PLANTS OF MTBE AND TWO PLANT OF PP
BY USING SAP RELEASE 3 UPDATE AND AMENDMENT OF MATERIAL SPEC. LIAISON WITH ENDUSER, BUYER AND LOGISTICS TO EFFECTIVILY COMPLETE THE PROCUREMENT CYCLE.
SUCCESFULLY COMPLETED THREE MAJOR SHUTDOWN MATERIAL PROCUREMENT AND EXPEDITING FOR MTBE PLANTS.
REVIEW INVENTORY LEVEL FOR STOCK MATERIAL AND OPTIMIZE STOCK PRIOR TO INITIATING PURCHASE REQUISITION IN ORDER TO REPLENISH THE STOCK. PERIODICALLY REVIEW THE POLICY AND PROCEDURE TO ENSURE COMPILIANCE OF REQUIREMENT, ENSURE THAT QUALITIY OF ITEMS THROUGH TECHNICAL EVALUATION.
ENSURE THAT CATALOUGING SOFTWARE BEING UTILIZED AT IBNZAHR IN ORDER TO STANDARIZE THE DATABASE AND COORDINATION WITH CATALOGING ACTIVITIES AND IMPROVEMENT IN MATERIAL SPECIFICATION.
Inspect material piping / electrical / Instrument as per specs.
Coordinate materials requirment with project team / purchasing / vendor.
Expedite materials with vendor
Make all necessary arrangement to send repairing material via sub conract process in SAP.

Preparation of Direct Purchase requisition for Mechanical / Electrical / Instrument / Communication equipment with all Saudi Aramco standard Specification, Inspection requirment. Non material requirment Spare data package ( SPDP-3102) requirment, Preparation of DCPR requisition and change request in Aramco Main Frame system (PATIS)

Worked under Aramco material standarization division for spare parts calatoging project. Work included physical verification of materials in store, preparation of specification for all stationary and rotating equipment and their spare parts. Equipment invlolved in the projects were pumps, compressores, turbines, heat exchangers, vessels tanks, etc.
