Oversees performance management for the field ensuring the standardization of fair and equitable
evaluation of all staff members;
analyzes performance management trends and advises managers of the trends and their impact;
provides technical advice to managers on the performance management cycle including procedures and the completion of forms required for that cycle.
Coordinates with Recruitment, Staff and Career Development Units to link their activities with the performance management of staff members and to ensure the incorporation of performance management into the development of staff and the management of their careers;
provides recommendations on training needs for the staff to ensure that performance management is part of the HR planning process.
Identifies and analyzes staff and organizational needs on performance management and performance
recognition to fulfill these needs.
Oversees the periodic evaluation reports related to field staff highlighting any discrepancies related to staff performance in order to resolve them.
Participates in the development of policies and procedures in the area of performance management to improve motivation and performance of staff.

•Produces periodic statistical reports on recruitment activities for use inside the Agency, including data on rosters, new incumbent profiles, and short listed candidates; produces other related reports, as required;
•Contacts counterparts in missions, non-governmental organizations and national recruitment services, with regard to Agency vacancies and applications as required;
•Provides updates to Programmes, Service Programmes’ heads and Chiefs of Area Offices on recruitment issues, as required;
•Oversees the development of appropriate tools for assessment in coordination with hiring offices;
