• Building effective working relationships with teachers, other colleagues, etc.
• Improving teachers’ pedagogy in relation to the ADEC learning outcomes, selecting suitable resources and support materials that meet the learning outcomes.
• Supporting teachers in planning and preparing lessons. Advising them how to use the three lesson parts to plan and to differentiate.
• Demonstrating and guiding teachers in the best teaching practices, classroom management skills and lesson delivery.
• Evaluating, accessing and reporting teachers’ performance and keeping them aware of any updates or changes to the curriculum.
• Delivering professional development sessions to the teachers which aim to improve education in the public schools i.e. teaching and assessing strategies, assessment for learning (AFL), formative assessments, summative assessments, moderation, designing rubrics, baseline test, science projects and fairs, motivating students, rewarding good behaviours and other related PDs to improve teachers’ performance and students’ achievements.
