First priority is to perform the responsibilities of job, to comply with the company’s policies
and procedures in all the areas, including attendance and punctually, safe work practice
and code of conduct at all times.
* Implement & administer all aspect of site specific safety and accident prevention
program.
* Ensure Safety Induction for all the workers and employees entering the plant premises.
* Conducting on job training (job specific training).
* Preparing STAs according to the works / project requirements.
* Preparing HIRA & JSA according to the project requirements and involved in HAZOP/ Risk
assessment techniques.
* Complying with legal requirements and maintaining all legal documents.
* Ensure proper housekeeping & hygiene at site, Labor colony, and crèche.
* Preparing project safety procedures.
* Responsible for making Emergency exit & Emergency plan.
* Responsible for making ‘ERT’ (Emergency response Team).
* Training and identifying selected persons as fire watchers and rescues.
* Responsible for conducting mock drills on fire fighting, First Aid, emergency exit and
evacuation.
* Ensure availability of First Aid Box and First Aid Practices are implemented at site.
* Ensuring proper material storage, storage of hazardous chemicals
* Making site safety inspections, preparation and site Presentation as per Internal audit
checklist.
* Conducting Tool Box Talks regularly.
* Conducting Weekly/ Monthly safety walkthrough and participate in Management walkthrough
* Responsible for maintaining all hazardous work permit systems.
* Inspection of PPE’s at regular intervals.
* Ensured to Medical checkup for the personnel/workers entering the site.
* Taking special precautions and on job trainings for continuous activities.
* Responsible for conducting light vehicle, earth moving equipment’s, and vehicle inspects.
* Responsible for conducting crane inspection, inspection of tools & tackles.
* Responsible for conducting electrical inspection like earth pits resistively checking
ELCB, RCCB, DB…etc.
* Issuing height pass for persons who works more than at a height of 10 meters.
* Inspection of machinery like DG’s welding machine, air compressor, grinding-
Machine, Sand blasting hopper
