Compare proposals for price and specifications.
Negotiate with vendors to reduce costs.
Review contract specifications on behalf of the company.
Communicate with vendors to ensure that the product arrives in time.
Manage technological systems that track the shipment, inventory and supply of materials
Lead transformational activities to build procurement organizational capabilities and improve procurement efficiency.
Ensure adherence to all safety, health, and environmental rules and regulations.
Work with engineering management on continuous improvement of development processes
Perform competitive benchmarking, work with Product Management to position competitive advantages and develop strategies to close any gaps.
Create work plans, cost estimates for work in own area of responsibility and report any Risk / Opportunity to management.
Manages the engineering team to include efficient staffing, team member development and training, performance management and policy enforcement.
Work with product management team to design and develop new products / improve existing products.

• Oversees all the project related matters ( EPC)

• Executing plans and programs within the developed objectives
• Conducting periodic meetings with subordinates regarding work priorities and ensuring work is flowing smoothly
• Managing and controlling all tasks and activities of the project at all stages and conditions in order to ensure delivering project's outcomes within the required timeframe, budget and quality
• Studying and analyzing new projects contract documents, and developing execution plans and programs, as well as supervising work execution and using various time management tools and methods to control changes to project's schedule
• Approving subcontractors, tenders, purchase orders, materials submittal, and controlling payments to subcontractors
• Monitoring and controlling work activities to ensure that the project is managed in a safe and professional manner, undertaken in compliance with all contractual requirements and executed at the required performance level
• Developing key performance indicators to measure the overall performance against the project goals and meet client's expectations in a timely and professional manner
• Monitoring changes to the project's scope, variance factors and changes to the project's budget, and producing complete project final account detailing any variations
• Controlling information distribution to all concerned parties, providing assistance in producing required and supporting documents such as construction method statements and drawings to be submitted to the Management
• Supporting the design and placement of contracts with consultants for technical aspects of the project
• Reviewing reports regarding on-site operations to ensure that standards of performance, quality, cost schedules and safety are maintained, in addition to testing and inspecting all project's elements to ensure compliance with requirements
• Ensuring that adequate resources are being provided by integrating on-site works with support functions through coordination with the head office
• Reviewing status and progress reports prepared to be submitted to the client and checking its correctness and comprehensiveness
• Developing periodic reports related to the activities of the department
• Recommending training aspects to subordinates and evaluating the outcomes of development and reflecting them properly on work related requirements
• Handling the manpower planning process as per the developed budgets and plans
• Conducting performance management activities to subordinates and managing the process of ensuring objectives are being met as advised.

• Assumes responsibility for supervision of construction activities to achieve project objectives, e.g. safety, quality, environment, schedule and cost.
• Implements safety program and ensures safe working conditions. Ensures a clean work site by supervising a site clean-up at least once a week.
• Requests all personnel on site to participate;
• Supervises field construction activities through Superintendents and Discipline Engineers, staff and coordinates their activities;
• Reviews and negotiates services to be purchased from outside sources, as well as, contractual responsibilities of subcontractors.
• Reviews subcontractors' requests for compensation and changes in construction sequence;
• Supervises subcontractor preparation, maintenance, and change in construction schedules, methods, manning charts, and construction equipment requirements.
• Advises subcontractor to improve unfavorable trends in progress or to develop new construction methods to overcome unusual circumstances.
• Coordinates with Field Control Manager to obtain the status of costs and schedule and coordinates with Logistic/Material Coordinator to obtain the status of materials.
• Coordinates with Field Engineering Manager to obtain technical information for construction.
• Conducts subcontractor kick-off meetings.
• If the basis of original subcontract is a provisional work volume, obtains final work volume based on construction drawings and change request from the subcontractor. If required, negotiates with the subcontractor.
• Prepares detailed construction completion plan. Requests subcontractor to submit list of remaining work and ensure completeness. Assists with preparation of required documents for construction completion.
• Supports Control Group as necessary for progress calculation and control and the monthly report.
• Decides if subcontractor should receive additional work, if so, requests an estimate from the subcontractor, reviews and clarifies the price, negotiate price, and administers work.
• Prepares final construction reports prior to closure of field office.
• Ensures that work proceeds in accordance with the Quality Assurance plan.
• Assures that work is within budget, plan and carry out efficiently in order to minimize waste.
• Set-up and preside (weekly) Progress Meetings which include HSE topics.
• Promote to identify specific hazardous work which require risk assessments and work execution plans (work method statement).
• Promote concerned personnel and subcontractors to analyze all work and identify any risks with serious loss potential, and to establish work execution plans including risk control or reduction measures.
• Review and acknowledge the work execution plans which should incorporate adequate provisions for HSE requirements and risk control or reduction measures for all hazardous and/or harmful work.
• Promote to maintain housekeeping at the highest standard.
• Assist/support Site HSE Manager to prepare the site security plan in coordination with Security Manager.

• Responsible by physical inspection of all piping / mechanical installations, ensuring that all Contractor personnel and workmanship is completed in accordance with approved designs, international codes, standards and Company's procedures.
• Responsible for providing guidance to contractor and witness all piping / mechanical testing and commissioning activities.
• Responsible for generating accurate, clear and concise inspection/QA/QC reports.
• Responsible for the identification of positive or negative progress including non-conformances and feedback to QA /QC Team Leader, Construction Site manager or construction supervisor.
• Responsible for coordinating with the various contractors to ensure that the approved Health & Safety / QA/QC procedures and the Quality Plan are implemented during inspection activities.
• Provide input to Company's near miss and incident reporting system.
• Provide input to Company progress reporting systems as required.



• Responsible for supervising the contractor in the compilation of the handover and test packs together with all as-built documentation.
• Authorities: The Piping Mechanical inspector shall have the authority to issue Non-Conformance Reports for materials and works that are not in compliance with industry standards, codes, specifications or procedures.
• Authority to close non-conformance reports once the non-conformance has been rectified.
• Authorized to produce punch list reports and subsequently close punch list items from the reports.
• Additionally, the inspector shall have the authority to stop work, if in the inspector’s opinion, work is being performed in and unsafe manner to such an extent the inspector feels a worker(s) wellbeing is in danger.
