• Managing the QS team, allocating the works to each QS and monitoring.
• Reviewing Quantity takeoffs from QS’s and sharing the same to the planning department for updating in system for progress monitoring purpose.
• Verifying the Bar bending schedules and forwarding the same to subcontractor to make, follow-up and get it delivered at site as per requirement.
• Identify the new materials quantities from the drawing and giving prior information to the construction and purchase department to avoid last minute material unavailability issues.
• Identify the Non-BoQ / Payable / Non-payable items based on the MOM and submit request to the main contractor for new unit rate approval.
• Reviewing and updating the quantities in the Productivity monitoring computer application (TrooNote) to facilitate the Project controls team to update the daily progress.
• Assisting the project controls engineer in updating the progress in the TrooNote system.
• Reviewing Sub-contractor Monthly Invoice and approving for payment.
• Supporting Contract Administrator in preparation of Subcontract documents and conditions.
• Reviewing and comparing of new package Contract based on the existing Contract and providing feedback to the management for further discussions.

• Reviewing Cost Summary Sheets for Civil and Piping works submitted by Sub-contractors for invoice claims. And forwarding the same for CA approvals.
• Identify the Non-BoQ / Payable / Non-payable items based on the MOM and advice sub-contractor to proceed.
• Reviewing, updating and reporting the CSS status log to the Lead Project Controls.
• Review weekly progress updated in Mile marker from Sub-contractor and forwarding concerned departments for acceptance.
• Based on the Mile marker, request Sub-contractor to submit Monthly Invoice for review and approvals.
• Reviewing Sub-contractor Monthly Invoice.
• Assisting Contract Administrator in reviewing of Contract Modifications and arriving New unit rate for the Non-BoQ items.
• Preparing final CSS Database for reconciliation of Contract Quantities. And final account of Subcontractor in line with the Contract terms and conditions.

• Reviewing Monthly invoices of Sub-contractors, issue payment certificates and proceeding for JV Management approval.
• Preparing monthly subcontractors Invoice forecast and forwarding to JV Management.
• Coordinating with other discipline QS’s for reviewing and approving monthly invoices to precede for the payments.
• Assisting Construction team in preparation of Site Instructions and issue the same to subcontractors for non-contractual works related items.
• Reviewing variation items proposals from Subcontractors and negotiating to finalize the unit rates with assistance of Subcontract Engineer.
• Preparing Management / Change order approval request and getting approval from the JV management and ensuring to issue the Change Order/ Variation order to the Contractor.
• Preparing contractual reply letters to the Contractors and other ad-hoc duties assigned by the Project Control Manager.
• Preparing final account of Subcontractor in line with the Contract terms and conditions.

• Review and understand the Work packs of the project and visit at site twice in a month. Update the status of the claims to the Lead Quantity Surveyor in Coastal office.
• Communicate with Project Engineers about the new projects and running projects work pack status and others. And guiding to the Quantity surveyors for the Preparation of Quantity takeoff and Estimates for the projects in all disciplines.
• Studying the Estimate Preambles from PDO and make sure the points are considered in all estimations and submitting the documents to the client to release the monthly interim payments.
• Follow up with the PDO QS about the SAP Service entries approved and non-approved quantities and make sure the payments are financially released. Coordinating with the site peoples to collect Site records and survey reports required for payment purpose.
• Coordinate with planning department and get every month progress percentages which are used for claim interim payments.

• Provide cost controlling support for the project which includes variation reporting, monitoring of milestone progress to the preparation of billing processes.
• Validate tender BOQ following award of project with Commercial Manager.
• Perform technical and commercial review of tenders (subcontractor’s quotations) for the preparation of Service agreements.
• Coordinate and work with the project management team to resolve project issues to ensure the delivery/completion of the project work. Coordinating with Engineering and Site execution team to resolve the technical issues.
• Monitor progress on site ensure that where applicable claims for recovery of loss and expense are submitted timeously and agreed with client liaising with Project Manager and referring appropriate conditions of contract.
• Perform project costing related reporting to the team and management’s review on a monthly basis to ensure that expenditures are kept within the project budget.
