Job Description
1- Receive tender request (RFP)
2- Studying bids which includes :
A- Studying BOQ
B- Studying Specifications
C- Studying Drawings
3- Send RFD to technical dept. in case of design build projects with target date
4- Issue a request to make project time schedule
5- Receive RFI’s from subcontractors and internal departments, these to be sent to customer/consultant
6- Receive answers from client/consultant and give feedback to relevant departments
7- Receive all documents sent by the “Procurement “
8- Issue a request with date to F&A to prepare Bid bond
9- Prepare Project cost sheet and submit it for approval
10- Prepare technical offer that includes :
A- Project time schedule
B- Project Vendor List
C- Company Legal & Financial Document
D- Company References
E- Company (Quality System, Accident and incident reporting, Specification for Construction Safety, Health and Safety Performance Requirements, Close out Procedures )
11- Submit project cost sheet to the top management for review and negotiate the over head & profit
12- Prepare the letter of tender
13- Submit the tender & follow up with the client within the period of tender study
14- Attend the sessions of tender opening/negotiations
15- Receive letter of intent “LOI”
16- Receive contract and review with relevant depts. & take needed actions
17- File copy of contract within department & sending original to “F&A”
18- Submit the LOI to the following:
A- Financial dept.
B- Procurement dept.
C- Technical dept.
D- Contracts admin. Dept.
19- Send PCS to procurement & PM’s
20- Submit complete file containing all correspondence between estimation dept. and sub contractors to procurement dept.
