I have got 4 year experience in embedded Linux, C coding, C++, writing USB drivers, XML parsing, database management like mysql, sqlite3 and also SPI flash, socket programming, I2C, IPC, CAN bus communication, tortoise SVN.
I have worked in two major project:
HP Dreamcolor monitor(Z27x)
Monitor that support calibration of a display with calibration devices. It had to module Athena \[dealing with the OSD\] and SoC \[related to USB, network, kernels, file systems\]. I was into SoC. Followed software engineering procedures with waterfall model. I was into design phase, coding phase, and testing phase.
Firmware Development: Coding for thread, operation and firmware update via USB and web. USB support feature, calibration algorithm, web support for monitor operation, i2c operations and Hand shaking with outer level OSD and the inner level communication. Database management in NAND flash. In the lower level; Kernel, boot-loader and file-system customize and flashing to the chip and Developer level testing are briefing of activities involved in the project.
CashWizard - II safe development for AMSEC
It had all safe features along with some added features. I was in to the control board that controls and prioritize other sub modules such as printer in node board, doors through lock board and cloud though connectivity board using CAN communication.
Firmware Development: Firmware updating operation via USB and web. Door and lock firmware codes. Adding the newly connected device to the system and validations. Whole safe configuration details and others write to the database as well as to files to USB and WEB.
