I'm ruining the legal function of the company in Saudi Arabia
* Draft and review all company contracts and agreements.
* Develop legal agreement templates that are used consistently.
* Represent the legal team in all BU projects and meetings with third parties.
* Provide sound legal advice to each BU in commercial, labor, and governance
matters.
* Draft warning letters to contractors, suppliers, and clients.
* Archive all contracts digitally and physically and maintain a spreadsheet with legal
numbering.
* Update company policies to comply with current laws.
* Manage my legal team and ensure their continuous training and development.
* Submit weekly and monthly reports to legal corporate and update them on the
current scope of work.
* Maintain a log of all active cases with external law firms and in-house counsel.
* Manage and hire law firms on a per-assignment basis in Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and
Jordan.
* Maintain all company legal corporate documents and implement changes in
activities to support the business.
* Attend all cases raised by the company or its subsidiaries or against them in western and southern region.
* Prepare memorandum and objection letters to all court ruling and proceeding.
* Advice the company to update labor bylaw and client and supplier policies.
* Attend all BU projects in western region to share my legal input and support.
* Prepare legal due diligence to new supplier and contractors.
* Ensure all company CR and fundamental documents compliance with the law and regulation.
* Asset in mediate labor complaint and resolved it in out of court settlement.
* Manging my legal team and instruct them to perform the work on good manner.
* Established legal department, and imposing a policy each contract, letter to be consulted by legal.
* Implement a new policy in labor hiring, and investigation to protect the company from fines and case law.
* Attend with CEO all business meeting regarding new branches and supplier agreement.
* Held labor investigation with HR in labor complaint.
* Attend all labor cases in MOL and courts.
* Maintain an archive for all agreement and company essential legal documents, and letters.
* Attended and completed the acquisition procedures done to the company.
* Review all client fundamental legal documents implement due diligence.
* Review client loan agreement, LC re-finance, and LG.
* Ensure all client facilities match the approved facilities and bank policies.
* Maintain a record of client’s legal documents and loan agreement.
* Attend meeting with new bank clients, and maintain KYC forms.
* Participate and bank session for DOA and bank policies update.
* Review memorandum and objection letters to all court ruling and proceeding.
* Attend with the senior lawyer court session and prepare a case brief.
* Study laws and its Implementing regulations and applied to law firm case law.
* Attend client counseling sessions with clients.
* Learned legal archiving and legal numbing.
I was able to improve my international law knowledge, and get a better understanding of the international market.
I got my basic LLB in law in my hometown university in Jeddah.
