Ensure Compliance: Oversee adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations by monitoring and assessing compliance, conducting risk assessments, and safety inspections.
Incident Management: Investigate accidents and near-misses, maintain records, and develop corrective actions.
Policy & Improvement: Assist in policy development, enhance safety processes, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Safety Oversight: Review project plans, develop custom safety plans, and ensure site compliance through visits and inspections.
Training and Evaluation: Provide safety training, conduct audits, investigate incidents, and enforce policies.
Project Collaboration: Participate in meetings, oversee contractors, maintain documentation, and support safety enhancements.
I work on creating a concept and safety policy that is appropriate for all the company activities, in order to ensure the safety and security of all its employees, visitors, and partners. Abbreviation of some tasks, establishing safety procedures, checking the safety of facilities, making checks and follow-up necessary for firefighting systems, managing the fire station, checking facilities for customers and making sure they are ready for emergency situations (firefighting equipment, training ).
Functional tasks:
• Identify potential or existing risk. Monitor daily tool box meeting and keep record.
• Make sure work permit available on site.
• Arrangement of sufficient barricade, warning tape and sign boards on site. Supervision of equipment
operator and flagman.
• Responsible to communicate with area construction supervisor for rectification of safety observation.
Responsible to check workers welfare facilities such as drinking shelter and prayer shelter are available.
• Evacuation of site workers, guide to assembly point and head counting during an emergency.
