I am currently working as a Pre-Sales & Technical Engineer in Ahmed Rashid Ahmed Technical Works, Dubai, UAE.
My Responsibilities Include:
• Estimation and Designing of Extra Low Voltage Systems (ELV), which includes CCTV System, Structured Cabling System, Audio/Video Intercom System, Public Address System, SMATV System, Standalone/Centralized Access Control System, Gate Barriers, PABX System, Wifi Hotspot System, Attendance/Biometric System and Home Automation as per project specifications, client requirement and government authorities’ latest guidelines.
• Alignment of CCTV cameras as per SIRA requirement.
• Installation and configuration of Video-Guard device.
• Use of SIRA and Video Guard Portals.
• Execution and supervision of the project till handover to the client.
• Drafting of ELV Systems drawings in AutoCAD.
• Designing of drawings for Video-Guard Portal in SVG format.
• Configuration and programing of CCTV System, Intercom System, Access Control System, PABX System, Home Automation System and Attendance System.
• Programming of Wifi Hotspot Systems installed in shopping centers, offices, and labor camps etc using captive portals or smart gateways.
• Coordinating with Consultants, Architects, Vendors, Contractors, Project Execution Team, etc.
• Prepare work schedules and carrying out resource planning and balancing.
• Coordinate with Project heads/engineers deputed at site regarding project works.
• Participating in site meetings with clients and project teams to discuss progress, resolve issues and facilitate delivery of projects within budget & time frames.
• Managing and scheduling of site inspections with government authorities.
• Work on after-sales support services and provide technical back up as required.
• Troubleshooting of network problems and bottlenecks and initiate remedial action if needed.
• Responsible for Administration tasks like purchase orders, inventory control, and equipment disposal.
• Responsible for troubleshooting of Computer hardware and software problems utilizing appropriate tools and troubleshooting techniques.
• Identify and suggest opportunities to enhance communication infrastructure.
With the head name of an Office Administrator I was responsible for:
• Management of office equipment.
• Maintaining office files and databases.
• Maintaining a clean and enjoyable work environment.
• Managing other clerical and administrative staff.
• Preparation of reports, presentations, memorandums, proposals and correspondence.
• Word processing, and dealing with email and telephone enquiries.
• Scheduling appointments and meetings for executives and upper level staff.
During my posting as an Office Secretary I was responsible for:
• Answering the telephone calls.
• Filling out forms according to office procedures.
• Operating and maintaining office equipment.
• Creating and updating reports or providing data entry assistance to office members as needed.
• Greeting visitors.
• Maintaining events’ calendar.
