• To perform daily Safety visits in different areas of power plant to identify HSE
issues.
• To effectively evaluate the concerned area before the start of hot jobs to avoid any
potential hazardous & incident at workplace.
• To conduct TBT (Tool Box Talk) and safety walks on at least weekly basis in different
areas of plant.
• Arrange meeting between management and staff on all matters relating to health, safety
and environment to ensure consistent application and understanding of policies and
procedures.
• Identify unsafe acts, conditions, hazards, Accident investigation, root causes and
identifies all corrective and preventative actions have done.
• Manage Emergency drill at Descon power plant.
• To conduct the fire demonstration drill at Descon power plants.
• Ensuring gives 100% safety Orientation of new members.
• Implementation of all work permits system and other procedures at plant sites.
• Corrective action/pre-cautionary measures to be taken at site to achieve safe work
progress and to maintain as far as practically low risk involvement in manufacturing
activities.
• Coordination regarding safety activities with the subcontractor and other individual
contractor who may be working on site.
• Inspection of Foam Sprinkler System for Furnace oil tanks according to NFPA.
• During running of plant visit & check Near miss point.
• Give Safety orientation to new employees.
• Give Fire Fighting Training.
• Enter the Record Safety Induction in Data Base &Monthly.
• Follow up hot work permit system where appropriate.
• Enforces the use of PPEs.
• Physical inspection of all portable fire equipment's weekly.
• Organize and monitor the reconditioning, installation and maintenance of fire-fighting
equipment's
• Preparation of daily & Weekly Reports According to the Requirement of QHSE team.
