Managing efficiently and effectively the school’s day-to-day operations by administering and operating school facility management, health and safety, security, general maintenance, transportation and general administration event.
Managing procurement fulfilling compliance requirements of ADEK, Abu Dhabi Municipality, Civil Defense, HAAD, etc in a timely and most responsible manner.
implementing and managing standard operating procedures and ensuring that the school functions smoothly on a day-to-day basis.
Providing strategic support to the School Principal/ Top Management through formulating and leading on specific aspects of the school improvement plan.
Developing maintenance and cleanliness of the school building and grounds ensuring that the site and facilities are available for school use at all times.
Providing advice and strategic guidance to the Principal/ Top Management, Senior Leadership and Corporate Office on business, financial and operational matters and be accountable for their effectiveness using robust performance
management systems.
Supporting the Principal/ Top Management in achieving the key strategic objectives for the School through formulating and leading on specific aspects of the School business and/or improvement plan.
Encouraging, and leading on environmental sustainability targets across the School site.
Ensuring that schools are fully compliant with local government authority regulations to safeguard against fines of any nature as a result of non-renewal of contracts at the school level.
Ensuring all internal and external audits are effectively coordinated and that actions arising from such audits are completed promptly and appropriately.
Understanding the effects and implications of government policies, legislation and directives, developing effective strategies for current initiatives and long-term educational trends and developments.
Developing OSH unified system across all ICS Schools.
Ensuring that OSH policies are adhered to across the School through a regular audit, inspections and other monitoring methods.
Ensuring that appropriate risk assessments are carried out across the School.
Conducting Health and Safety training for staff to meet the Organization’s legal obligations. Where specialist external training is required, co-coordinating and managing this.
Investigating and recording incidents, accidents and near-misses, and reporting as appropriate.
Providing OSH advice and guidance to staff and other users of the School.
Providing advice on the implementation of OSH policies and procedures.
In charge of TOT (Training of Teachers) related to HSE, Environment Agency's training courses; workshops.
Conducting Health and Safety training for staff and students to meet the School’s legal obligations.
Development of HSE training courses, course outlines, and audio and/or video editing of HSE training courses.
Train the staff with risk assessment responsibilities, and maintain a register of risk assessments and ensure regular reviewas required.
Maintaining OSH training records and Ensuring that training is renewed as appropriate.
Raising OSH matters and issues to the School Principal/ senior management on behalf of employees.
Leading the OSH inspection program.
Leading the investigation of OSH issues or incidents and involving ADEK OSH Section in the investigation of reportable incidents.
Handling the Waste Management File “TADWEER” with ZERO PENALTIES.
Coordinating with The Environmental Consultant in preparing the Waste Action Reduction Plan and Environment Monitoring Report.
Ensuring company policies are followed.
Completing tasks assigned by the general manager accurately and efficiently.
Maintaining an overall management style that follows company best practices.
