Responsibilities included:
➢Identified and researched key international and regional brands that will have a brand fit with Emaar and engage with them with the aim to building strategic partnerships with The Dubai Mall key Leisure and Entertainment attractions.
➢Shortlisting the correct fit vendor / partner as per the strategic business objective.
➢Identified the clients business challenges and collaboratively shape solutions that drive their business.
➢Preparing sponsorship proposals in line with the client/company objectives according to industry standards and value proposition; this also requires aligning the back end through legal department of Emaar and the Sponsor
➢Developed and implemented strategic sponsorship partnership contracts for the attractions at the Dubai Mall
➢Negotiating terms & conditions and contractual clauses for the execution of the contract
➢Opportunistically seeking new events, promotions, and specialty retail concepts and media resources
➢Enhancing the customer experience across Emaar Retail’s portfolio of Leisure and Entertainment attractions by engaging the client/company relationship
➢Creating client brand awareness by proposing opportunities to participate in Emaar attraction areas by co-branding, marketing events, CSR etc.
Achievements
➢Achieving 100% of the annual target every year and signing new business deals worth AED 30M per annum
➢Contracted a major sponsorship deal within the first 2 months of employment (net worth of 800k per annum for a 3-year agreement; total worth AED 2.4 million).
➢Signed a large partnership deal with major corporations for hosting major events at the Dubai Ice Rink.
➢Secured existing large corporate cliental accounts with Samsung, Emirates Islamic Bank, Swatch Group, Master Card, ADCB etc…
➢Collaborated a partnership contract with Reel Cinemas/Sega Republic and the Banking sectors for a co-branding of credit cards.
➢ Supported in out-of-the-box initiatives for marketing campaigns i.e. Mini Cooper inside The Dubai Aquarium.
Reporting directly to the Ad Sales Director, responsible for selling sponsorships and advertising spots on the division of
Zee Aflam.
Responsibilities included:
➢Negotiating sponsorship deals and annual contracts with agencies and major clients.
➢Finalizing annual deals with agencies and clients.
➢Selling television advertisement spots on Zee Aflam in MENA region.
➢Prepared and presented product portfolios to major clients and agencies.
➢Liaising with marketing and programming departments for alignment of customer requirements.
