Helping customers to understand better by using articles uploaded by the engineering
team in SAW (Services Access Workbench) for troubleshooting issues and by creating
same environment in the lab L3.
L1 Support based on Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)/ Knowledge base for
multiple technologies like Mainframes, Network, Backup, Storage.
Analyzing backup failures and identifying errors to fix the issue.
Daily verification of backup jobs and restart of failed jobs as required. Perform
Troubleshooting of Problems / Issues in Netback up, Tape Libraries etc.
Data Backup using Symantec VERITAS Netback up and Backup exec.
Worked on ticketing tool like BMC Remedy Version 8.1 ITSM
To work closely with other technical teams to troubleshoot the issue.
Communicate with the onshore client datacenter teams and media management teams
for various functions.
Worked on monitoring tools like Xymon, Nagios, Nedi, Solarwinds.
L1 support for Control-M, job Scheduler and worked on scheduling jobs.
Worked on ERM (EMC Replication Management) tool for replication and backing up
the data.
