• Oversee maintenance of GE FRAME 7EA GAS TURBINES (70MW*8), Multi-Effect Desalination Plant, Multi-Stage Flash desalination plant, Reverse Osmosis Plants, and Sea Water Cooling facilities.
• Participate in Route Cause Analysis (RCA) meetings with Team for trip investigation, defect or chronic problem, Instrument and control equipment’s failure. Attend Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) Meetings for optimizing the maintenance plan, and effective and efficient utilization of assets.
• Review of various project deliverables which include but are not limited to Scope of Work, Inspection and Test Plan, Front End Engineering (FEED) stage Project Deliverables, Operation and Maintenance Manuals, As-built Drawings (Piping and Instrumentation Diagram, Instrument loop diagram, SAMA Drawing), Recommended Spare List (RSPL), and Master Equipment List (MEL) of any project.
• Direct and Manage the Instrumentation and Control Team, assign jobs to technicians, provide technical support, and evaluate technicians’ performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Review the daily progress reports and update to I & C Manager and plan strategy for performing maintenance activities.
• Oversee Commissioning and maintenance of 2x351 MW Combined Cycle Power Plants, Desalination (Reverse Osmosis) Plant, and Balance of Plant (BOP) Auxiliaries.
• Oversee Maintenance of 3x350 MW Crude oil-fired Thermal Power Plant and Reverse Osmosis Plant of 216000 M3/Day.
• Maintain and troubleshoot of Diasys Netmation Distributed Control System of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries and Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) SLC 500 series of Allen Bradley which includes Logic Signal forcing, Controllers, IO Cards, Communication module Hardware replacement, Software backup and Restore.
• Perform corrective and preventive maintenance activities for all field instruments including but not limited to pneumatic control valves, Positioners, Motorized valves, Pressure, temperature, level, flow Transmitters and switches, Flame scanners, Spark Plugs, Thermocouples, Analyzers such as PH, Conductivity, silica, etc.
• Oversee Operation and Maintenance of 2x77 MW, 1x80 steam turbine, Boiler, and Balance of Plant Auxiliaries.
• Maintenance and troubleshooting of Distributed Control System (DCS) Experian CPU 200 of Honeywell & Max DNA DCS of Metso Automation which includes DCS Logic modification, the study of the logic to investigate any trip incident, Simulation of process parameter on need, IO Channel configuration, Hardware replacement, control loop tuning, Program uploading, downloading and Software backup from DCS.
• Maintenance and troubleshooting of GE FANUC Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) for Ash Handling Plant and Rockwell Automation/Allen Bradley PLC for Demineralized Plant which includes assessment of PLC logic for troubleshooting of any plant defect, Replacement of defective hardware cards, and signal simulation

Accountabilities:
•Working on microcontroller-based digital Temperature Scanners, Controllers, Multifunction Transducer, Electrical Transducer, Converters, Temperature Scanner, Controller, Indicator, Bar Graph Indicators, Isolators, and Annunciators which include programming, testing, fault finding, etc.
•Hardware testing and troubleshooting of Power supplies, SMPS, Proximity switches, RTD/Thermocouple/MA input Indicators, and transmitters. Tracing electronic circuits, finding faults, replacing faulty components, testing.
•Designing Printed Circuit boards for all electronic products, modifying existing PCBs, and developing new designs as well. Verify the PCB Board, Perform a Visual inspection, and inform the manufacturer of any defects.
•Work on Coral Draw software and design various circuits, interface connections, and stickers for electronic instruments. Prepare manuals, catalogs, and Bill of materials (BOM) for products.
•Work on various communication protocols RS2and 32-485, Ethernet to interface electronic products with any third-party controllers.
•Provide training to trainee Engineers and assist them. Provide orientation about the company working culture, and infrastructure.
