• Manage, track and report on compliance to project budgets, drive project change orders as necessary and generally be accountable for the project Profit & Loss
• Coordinating with sub contractors, consultants and involved external and internal agents
• Proactively manage project risk, taking full responsibility for problem resolution and ensuring, when necessary, that escalation occurs in order to keep projects on track
• Moving in line with the Quality, safety, Legal and Environmental norms and standards
• Manage project communications, facilitating regular project status meetings with all stakeholders, document meeting minutes as necessary and manage all ongoing action items
• Institute reviews prior to sending project deliverables to the client
• Ensure that all project deliverables and documentation is archived appropriately and in a timely manner that satisfy established project review and audit processes
• Perform follow-up customer surveys to assess delivery quality and customer satisfaction
• Conduct project close out activities, including transition process back to Order to execution
• Regularly assist and mentor fellow Project Managers on best practices and processes
• Manage and motivate project team members for excellence in execution ensuring roles and responsibilities are clearly defined and smooth hand-offs occur
• Conduct post-delivery lessons learned meetings
• Demonstrate tact and professionalism in handling difficult situations
• Coordinating between parent company and working company
Over 70 plus man day Audit Experience in various companies as Technical Expert in Mechanical & Civil Engineering, Lead Auditor & ISO consultant with knowledge in Health Safety & Environmental related Issues, 5s Principle, Quality Tools, TQM practice Proficiency in computer and Administration. The following was done on call basis/part time along with my main job to gain competency and experience in the same field
Job Responsibilities:
• Issuing quotes for the audit and providing audit schedule to the clients registered for audit.
• Make plan and team for audit
• Prepare check lists
• Conduct opening and closing meeting
• Conducting audit meetings with the client organizations, and tour the company and inspect the facility to detect nonconformities--especially in the production zone and in the waste generation points.
• Reviewing and studying the company documents--especially the previous audit reports-- and makes note of nonconformities mentioned in the system.
• Conducting audit interviews with key staff members of the company
• Preparation of audit reports based on key findings, mentions anomalies and nonconformities in the system, and rates the degree of severity of the problem
• Providing suggestions on modifications and making recommendations to enable the system to comply with ISO standards.
• Prepare report on the level of compliance for certification/re-certification and Surveillance audits
• Apart from that prepare manuals and work instruction for the companies, I undertake consultancy for both QMS and OSHAS.
• Responsible for managing the entire operations of the company including monitoring of ongoing projects, fabrication workshops, machine shops and management of company's resources and were leading project managers and project engineers for planning and successful execution of projects.
• Prepare Project related documents and technical submissions like Material submittal, Project Quality Plan, Method statements, Material Inspection Reports, QC related Documents, Work Notifications and Project Action Plan.
• Inspection and Reviewing of shop drawing prepared by the draftsmen based on the client structural drawing and approved the same for production. In case of any clarification needed for working at site, respective SCR is raised to the client via main contractor and consultant.
• Head of Quality & Safety department, preparing ISO 9001:2008, ISO 18001:2007 Manual and representing as Management Representative during audit, conducting Internal audit and QHSE awareness training.
• Involved in production and technical meeting with client.
Development of new customers & Vendors
Customer- Supplier Relationship Process & Customer Focus related Activities and evaluating Customer feedback
Achieving sales Targets and other objective set by the management with control over project budget.
Preparing work orders for each department and raising Invoice & Delivery Order during the dispatch of products
2D drafting using software like Auto CAD, Draft Sight, VariCAD, ZWCAD etc and 3D modeling using Solid works & Pro-E with analysis of Structural drawings to an extent using COSMOS analysis.
Review of Part & Assembly drawings with required tolerance for manufacturing & inspection based on customer specification
Reviewing Bill of Materials based on drawings & estimating the Quantity with comparison to the stock in hand.
Documentation & Record Maintenance
Planning of Work based on work order & resource availability by preparing plan using Gantt charts and reviewing the action based on the actual time taken and also plan for project based on funds to have a control on project budgeting.
Decision based on Over-time & Out sourcing taken based on Job
Plan the schedule of Procurement, Production, Inspection, Logistics and Installation
Evaluation & Execution of Pending work by periodic Inspection & Reviews
Preparation of Operational controls that prevents Non-Conformity
Implementing system Job Card for fabrication as well as machine shop to initiate work and time study
Experience in controlling labour at Machine shop (having conventional machines like lathe, radial drilling, shaping, planar etc.) and in Fabrication shop as supervisor in manufacturing and erection of mild steel and Stainless steel fabricated structures and components including process like Marking, Oxy-acetylene, Plasma Cutting, ARC & MIG Welding, Sheet bending, Gas cutting, Tube Expansion etc.
Execution of Job as per customers Specified Standard or Design Standards like BS, ASTM, API
Execution of Welding Associated reports like WPS, PQR as per AWS or BIS standard through Welding Inspectors.
Planning and Executing of External Testing Like Ultrasonic and Lab Test, If required by the client
Implementation of 5s, Agile & Lean Management, TQM & TPM inside the Job floor
Identification of Salvageable Items and Arranging the Raw material in a way that maximum utilization is carried out.
Execution of Organizational Health & Safety policies to ensure no breakdown.
Represent the company as Management Representative Responsible of Quality, Health & Safety.
Developing and implementing the quality plans, policies and procedures for the the organization as well as for individual projects to achieve the business objectives set.
