Responsible for assembling the final product as a sequence consisting of shots from the raw camera footage, dialogue, sound effects and graphics. Involved in creating the narrative, structure, and tone of the programme.
Receive a brief, and maybe an outline of footage and/or a shot list, script, or screenplay; assemble all raw footage, with camera shots either recorded or transferred onto video tape in preparation for inputting into the computer.
Involved in Online editing of Game show, quiz, Musical Concert, Dance & Singing contests online editing & Live telecasts of public programmers and rallies.
Input uncut rushes and sound, and synchronizing and storing them into files on the computer. Digitally cut files to determine the sequence of the film and determining what is usable.
Create a 'rough cut' of the programme/film and determine the exact cutting for the next and final stages.
Re-order and tweak the content to ensure the logical sequencing and smooth running of the film/video.
Oversee the quality and progress of audio and vision engineering and editing.
Consult with the Director, Producer and/or Client throughout the Post-Production Process; Familiarize with the style of specific Directors. Write voiceover/commentary; suggest or select music.
Experiment with styles and techniques including the design of graphic elements; select the most effective shot of a scene in terms of drama, story relevance or continuity.
Responsible for delivering the final product to the required specifications. Edit stories on various softwares & provide final touch to the video.
Responsible for Video Webcasting (streaming) in www.daijiworld.com website.
