Quality control and Quality assurance works as per approved shop drawings of all electrical installations, low voltage and low current systems.
•Site supervision of project construction and monitoring of all electrical activities as per project technical specifications and standards.
•Carrying out inspections for all site works like conduit installation, cable tray installation, panel positioning, cable pulling, cable IR testing, and cable termination and panel body earthing inspections.
•Carrying out inspections for all site works of ICT system, fire alarm system and BMS system.
•Material inspections for all materials and LV panels (MDB’s, SMDB’s, MCC panels) as per standards and specifications.
•Co-ordinating with sub-contractors and suppliers and with client.
•Attending meetings with sub-contractors and suppliers regarding the progress.
•Follow the regulations and procedures for the site inspections as per the standards and specifications.
•Strictly implement safety practices and activities at site and provide technical expertise and guidance to identify, analyse and resolve the problems of the project.
• Closing of NCR (Non-conformance report) as per project technical specifications.
•Maintaining Logs for IR’s, MIR’s, NCR’s and checklist, ITP and shop drawings.
Involved in operation and maintenance of Substation equipments including, issuing safety work permits, troubleshooting, condition monitoring.
•Coordinated for maintenance of power transformers (33/11KV & 220/132KV), Circuit breakers (SF6, Vacuum), CT’s, PT’s, Lightning arrestor, battery and battery chargers.
•Maintained various records such as monthly operating reviews, daily log sheets and different registers as per equipment.
•Issued permit works on power transformers and EHT feeders to concerned authorities.
•Verified and noted down the oil and winding temperatures of the transformers hourly.
