• Review submitted shop drawings against contract drawings and specifications, local codes and statutory requirements and international best practices.
• Plan, supervise, and execute underground cable laying activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and adherence to safety standards
• Attend inspection Requests (IR's) submitted by the contractor and take appropriate action in a timely manner.
• Supervised and executed cable laying, testing, and commissioning of EHV, HV, MV, and LV cables (132kV/66kV/33kV/11kV) at Qatar Free Zone as a consultant, in coordination with KAHRAMAA, ensuring adherence to utility standards and project requirements.
• Perform continuity testing for power, control, and earthing cables. Conduct Lux level testing across various lighting types utilizing the Room Index Method.
• Execute Cable Testing (Continuity, Insulation, Resistance) and Point-to-Point tests to ensure safety and functionality.
• Oversee Fluke testing procedures and validate test reports for all telephone and data outlets, ensuring adherence to technical standards.
• Direct the installation of PA racks, fire alarm systems, ATS panels, CBS panels, and lighting control panels, emphasizing accuracy and safety.
• Visual checks - Checking of correct ferules, labels, cable routing as per specification, checking termination checking of arc shield/protections, cable lugs, cable dressing, identifying damages if any for cables/equipment’s of casing, check for correct display of DB Schedules etc.
• Conduct detailed visual inspections to verify correct labelling, cable routing & terminations, and protective measures against arc hazards, enhancing system reliability.
• Performing testing & commissioning activities.

• Manage and perform critical testing and commissioning activities for various electrical systems, ensuring operational efficiency.
• Monitor the installation of EMT conduits, cable pulling, and termination of LV and ELV cables, guaranteeing installation quality and compliance with technical specifications.
• Preparation of site observation report (SOR) for deficiencies of work found at site and non- conformance reports (NCR) if required in view of the development of events.

• Monitoring and/or evaluating electrical tests such as ground-fault, ground resistance, insulation resistance, Hi-pot tests, polarity, continuity, capacity, load and other electrical field tests.
• Exercising ability to interpret single-line and schematic Electrical drawings as well as plans and specifications.
• Preparation of site observation report (SOR) for deficiencies of work found at site and non- conformance reports (NCR) if required in view of the development of events.
• Field checking installation and location of electrical equipment, electrical duct, conduit, cable, panels and other components of the electrical system being installed.
• Responsible for inspecting the installation of all Electrical LV & ELV systems and ensures they comply with electrical codes and standards.
• Visits construction sites perform Inspection, and makes recommendations for improvement, attend inspection Requests (IR's) submitted by the contractor and take appropriate action in a timely manner.
• Maintaining records of the contractor manpower and equipment daily resources
• Monitor and inspecting the installation of equipment like MV switchgears, Feeder pillar, Meter service cabinets, Fiber optic cables, Street lights, LV Panels, Lights etc.
• Carry out the Materials inspection delivered to the contractor store.
• Provided technical expertise to resolve onsite disciplinary issues, enhancing project outcomes.
• Witness testing and commissioning electrical installations.
• Checking the contractors' As-built drawings for adequacy.

• Plan and coordinate daily work processes to ensure high-quality installations, reviewing and executing work as per Kahramaa designs.
• Develop a collaborative team environment, fostering strong relationships with contractors and stakeholders.
• Address electrical technical challenges across all project phases, ensuring smooth execution.
• Develop process improvements to effectively utilize equipment, materials, and workers.
• Monitor project schedules, challenge underperformance, and coordinate progress with contractors to meet deadlines.
• Ensure compliance with contract documents, execution plans, standards, and change management processes.

• Review of electrical work progress in accordance to project schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned project progress and challenge below par performance of the contractor.
• Performs Project Reporting and implementation of company initiatives during project execution.
• Develop and implement process improvements to optimize equipment, materials, and workforce efficiency.
• Evaluates electrical systems, products, components, and applications by designing and conducting research programs, applying knowledge of electricity and materials.
• Conduct system capability assessments by designing and implementing testing methodologies.
• Prepares product reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
• Direct Electrical crews and subcontractors in the execution of day to day Electrical and building maintenance works.
• Oversee works in progress for Building construction/maintenance activities and its conformance with QA/QC specifications and requirements, building codes, standards and procedures including materials if it conforms to drawings specifications, methods, and procedures.
• Perform installation, testing & commissioning of 11kV cables, LV cables, transformers, package substations, and RMUs to ensure compliance with operational standards.
• Execute HV (11kV) and LV underground cable laying, 11kV switchgear installation, transformer cable terminations, RMU installation, feeder terminations, and LV cable terminations in accordance with Kahramaa standards.
• Conduct Temperature tests for dry-type transformers to ensure optimal performance.
• Execute Pressure Relief Valve (PRV) and Temperature tests for oil-type transformers to ensure safety and operational efficiency.
• Verify phase rotation to confirm proper system synchronization and prevent equipment damage.
• Conduct Hi-Pot (High Potential) and Live Phasing tests, along with Megger (Insulation Resistance) testing, to ensure insulation integrity and system reliability.
• Conduct Megger (Insulation Resistance) testing to assess electrical insulation integrity.
• Perform Earth Resistance testing to ensure proper grounding and system safety.
• Evaluation of project progress, attend meeting with Executive Engineer of Kaharmaa, Ashghal and consultant for solution of Different matter. Review the materials and propose alternatives to improve the quality, future maintenance, safety, and cost.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and government bodies (Kahramaa, Ashghal) for seamless project execution.
• Prepare and submit invoices to clients and contractors, ensuring financial accuracy.
• Assist project manager in budget preparation, monitor expenses, and drive cost-effective solutions.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports to track project progress and support decision- making.

• Designing and Modification of Existing Schematic Drawings of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) and Saudi Electricity Company (SECO) as per the information of their Clients ABB, AL FANAR, & SIEMENS.
• Delegation of job responsibilities within subordinates and monitoring the same.
• Preparation of Electrical Schematic Drawings.
• Preparation of General Arrangement Drawings (GA), Drawing Checking and Coordination Checking, As Built Drawing Checking and Preparation, Cut out Drawings and Wiring Tables.
• Conversion from AutoCAD drawings to Microstation v8i.

• Checking of all project drawings, documentation, calculations, technical evaluations, and manpower estimates to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Review and submittal of Red Markups and As Built Drawings.
