Position: Senior Mechanical Engineer

Duties & Responsibilities:
1- Responsible for managing, coordinating, directing, and overseeing project team members (site engineers, foremen, and subcontractors) in order to ensure safe and successful execution of all mechanical activities and compliance with production schedule.
2- Manage and handle all mechanical works in all phases of the Project (initiating, planning, executing, monitoring/controlling, and closing).
3- Obtain & Negotiate quotations from suppliers based on specifications and BOQ, and drawings and placing the purchase order PO.
4. Studying the tender drawings, contract documents and applicable standards or specifications prior to execution of any job.
5- Providing the engineering and technical supports to all the mechanical work groups at site.
6- Preparing the technical submittal, compliance sheet, and supervising the preparation of shop drawings, single line diagram, as-built drawings, and electro-mechanical coordination drawings.
7- Reviewing project status reports to increase work productivity.
8- Schedule work activities to meet established completion date.
9- Overseeing and inspection the mechanical systems installations including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and other specialty mechanical systems. And ensuring that the execution of mechanical works comply with specifications, procedures, and drawings.
10- Provide technical direction to designer and draft man.
11- Discuss and solve problems with subcontractors, suppliers, and client.
12- Following up the mechanical documents including: Shop Drawings, Submittals, and RFI’s with client and consultant.
13- Attend meeting with client and consultant to discuss and respond their questions/requests and give update on project progress.
14- Attend project meetings for technical discussions and approvals of drawings and material submittals for the complete mechanical system in the project.
15- Request materials, tools and equipment needed.
16- Following up material delivery with suppliers, and schedule the delivery as per site condition and priority.
17-Review invoices from mechanical subcontractors and vendors.
18-Other duties as assigned.
B) King Fahad Specialist Hospital and cyclotron Project.
Position: Quality Control Engineer
Project Amount -- 54, 000, 000 Saudi Riyals

Duties & Responsibilities:
1- Assuring that the work is performed as required by the contract and meets the required qualities.
2- Coordinate all site inspections of mechanical works with the site engineers and subcontractors.
3- Ensuring all work is correctly prepared prior to any inspection being undertaken.
4- Reviewing the approved quality plans, manuals, and scope of work to perform the required inspection.
5- Responsible for documentation process from schematics through construction phases within the discipline.
C) Sahara Petrochemicals Project.
Position: Site Engineer
Project Amount -- 75, 000, 000 Saudi Riyals
March 2008 - Nov. 2010.
Duties & Responsibilities:
1- Ability to lead site personnel to execute and complete the job on time.
2- Supervision and inspection the installation of mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, fire fighting and other specific mechanical activities) at construction sites.
And testing and commissioning and handing over all systems at the end of the project to client.
3- Prepare project status reports.
4- Preparation of Shop drawings and as-built drawings for all mechanical works.
5- Ensure that all mechanical site activities are conducted under controlled conditions as per shop drawings.
6- Preparation of material take off.
7- Coordination with other engineering disciplines.
