2006 till 2012 A joint venture took place between "Manwell Technical Service"s and "Transfield Services" This is an Australian FM company. The new name for Qatar branch is Transfield Mannai Facilities Management Services (TMFMS) . I was promoted to Deputy Manager-Facilities. I worked as Facilities Manager for one of our High Rise Building Contracts - ASAS Twin Tower in West Bay, Doha- Qatar. These are 2 residential towers, 28 floors each+G+2B. There are 320 flats in these towers in addition to all utilities and amenities/recreation facilities like swimming pool, gym, golf simulation, stores, restaurant etc.
2012 till date: I am the Facilities Manager in Charge for TMFMS MEP maintenance contract for Qatar Museums Authority (QMA) sites (Museum of Islamic Art, Oriental, Fahab Bin Ali, National, HQ, Pora Cabin, Weaponry, Wajba, Al Riwaq, and Al Khor)
2002-2004 Joined as Electrical Engineer with Manwell Technical Services, a division of Mannai Trading Company.
Responsibilities: In charge for Telecom works (Q-Tel) and electrical works in general. Then promoted to Assistant manager.
2005-2006 Promoted to manager of power and telecommunication division.
Responsibilities: Head of the department (both electrical and telecom) . Taking care of all electrical works, Q-tel copper cabling works (D-Side and E-side), Fiber works, and maintenance works.
1999-2000 Worked as Electrical Engineer for USAID Water
Project through ABB SUSA, New York. This project was funded by USAID. The main contractor was MORGANTY, and the subcontractor was ABB.
Responsibilities: Modifying & revising shop drawings, supervising subcontracted electrical works for generators, MCCs, and substations. Finally, making the "As built drawings.
2000-2001 Teaching Electrical Circuits in UNRWA Qalandia Institution.
1995-1999 Worked as Manager of Electrical Panels
Manufacturing & Assembling Factory.
Responsibilities: Designing, pricing, follow up, assembling, and commissioning of electrical panels of all types.
B.A. in Electrical Engineering from Birzeit University, Palestine.
