As a Sr. Network security Engineer performs multifaceted job in planning and execution of new and existing deployment of Arbor DDoS Solution
Identify weakness and potential threats to existing information security tool sets.
Specially for ARBOR DDoS solution which is implemented in one of ISP in Qatar.
Also, work with other security solutions - Vulnerability assessment (Rapid-7 Nexpose)
Job Profile:-
•Manages local network infrastructure.
•Performs day to day LAN/MAN activities.
•Implement Firewall policies both in ASA and Juniper (Netscreen).
•Maintains end to end connectivity from client to server end.
•Work on Remedy tool (BMC) to manage Incidents.
•Conducts Cisco to Juniper migration in local infrastructure.
providing support to worldwide customers in configuration and troubleshooting the network.
•Understanding the Customer/Business Partners service request and providing the technical assistance on call or over remote session.
•Recreate the customer network in lab environment to check if the problem could be duplicated and to resolve it.
•Troubleshoot Product (Avaya/Nortel), Codes and Configuration issues.
•Ensure On-Time escalation to L3 and Engineering (R&D) teams.
•Joining the maintenance window and assisting the BP/Customer in
•Successful completion of activity.
•Ensure consistent customer satisfaction.
•Contribute to the knowledge base/Tech Forum
Monitor and Troubleshoot the point to point connectivity of internet.
•Maintains the different medium of connectivity Wi-Max, OFC, Copper Cables.
•Understand the different configuration of customers.
•Provides L1 support to customers.
•Extensive knowledge of communication protocols, network design, and network infrastructure.
•Knowledge of Networking systems like Switches- Cisco 2900, 3750 Servers, Routers-Cisco (1600, 1800, 2600, 2800), LAN, WAN, Firewalls, TCP/IP, DNS, PPP and MPLS.
•Possess strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem solving skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with strong organizational and management skills.
Completed my B.E with 70% in 2011.
