Part of Tasks & responsibilities:-
• In charge of modification proposal and Project implementation from engineering up to hand over to the end user.
• Liaises with Contract & Procurement Department for CFT preparation and bids evaluations and during the course of placing purchase orders and contracts for the projects.
• Has a regular contact with contracted Engineering and Construction companies for controlling engineering studies and ensuring conformity to scope of work, basic engineering and Company specifications.
• Visits work sites (38” pipeline and Balhaf LNG plant) or contractor yards for safety and technical audit on work carried out.
• Ensures that all safety rules and regulations are strictly abide bided by where he is in charge of.
• Has a frequent contact with Site Construction Superintendent for construction work implementation.
• Works closely with Head Quarters TDO/PJT entities for complex modifications, and liaises with them, as required, to ensure compliance with the required technical specifications.
• Upon request, contacts with Upstream facilities operation and engineering teams for assistance.
Technical Matters
• In charge of preparation of the Feasibility, Basic and Detail Design for the approved modification dossiers. Depending on the scope of the modification, such team may include Process, Piping, Structure, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, and Control Systems specialists.
• Once the Basic Design is approved, co-ordinates the Detail Engineering studies or, depending on the extent of the study, prepares a service contract for their implementation.
• Issues the scope of work, pre-qualification dossiers, call for tender, review the bids together with other involved entities, and submits recommendation to the Head of Projects.
• Proposes to Head of Project placement orders and contracts in order to implement the approved modifications within planning and cost.
• Prepares contracts and purchase order plan in accordance with the approved projects plan.
• Ensures a proper administration and follow up of contracts and orders. Generates corrective actions when required.
• Coordinates the disciplines engineers and Construction Engineer for reviewing and commenting contractors’ document and procedures and submits such document Head of Engineering for approval.
• Monitors / co-ordinates the implementation of the Detail Engineering studies with respect to compliance with Safety issues, planning, manhours, procurement, and equipment/ material supply.
• Co-ordinates the preparation of works with special emphasis to logistics in case the works is to be carried out offshore.
• Monitors the execution of works with special emphasis to Safety issues, quality, planning and costs.
• Ensures safe working practices are carried out within both Company and contractor teams.
• Manages all projects interfaces with the involved entities.
• Ensures that the implemented projects are of high quality, safe and cost effective.
• Ensures that all “As-Built” technical documentation generated by an Engineering study and implemented modification are formally integrated in the Original copies and dispatched to approved distribution list.
• Coordinates with the Plant Operation in order to optimise plant shutdowns and contractor mobilisation.
• Participates as required in preparation of pre-commissioning and commissioning.
• Coordinates with disciplines engineers, and site Construction Engineer for carrying out the job performed.
• Elaborates projects plans, budget, work program and contract strategy ensuring that they are in line with Company policies and objectives.
• Participates in the preparation of the mid and long-term Engineering works planning.
• Ensures constant optimization of projects costs and reliable corrective action when required.
• Proposes the annual budget, controls expenditures and justifies deviations.

Project Engineer
For Saudi Aramco ( Wasit Gas Plant ) ( Site Preparation & road construction)
Project details:-
Wasit Gas Plant is one of the largest projects in GCC and the world’s biggest gas plant. 25 sq. KM Site preparation is the scope of our project and it cost 300 million SAR.
It consists of Asphalt roads (46 km), Earth work, Culverts, Duct banks, electrical systems, Underground utilities, Lift stations, Water well Pumps and Dynamic compaction.

For the construction of Sugar Refinery plant (2000 TPD Refined Sugar) in Yemen - Hodidah ( one of Hayel Saeed group projects ).( Cost of civil works equal to twelve million dollars.)
Part of Tasks & responsibilities:-
Ensures contract costs, schedule and technical quality
Ensures task execution in accordance with approved plans and regulations
Oversees subcontractor performance
Oversees safety and health, technical quality and compliance with applicable regulations
Ensures all schedules and budgets are met
Ensures all contractual requirements are satisfied
Monitors progress against goals
Develops and implements recordkeeping system for administrative, QC and project closeout.
Manages and directs team staff and team integration
Manage and execute tasks in accordance with Contract Documents
Management and execution of all on-site activities
Assigns personnel to daily tasks
