Key Responsibilities:
This project on a whole was divided into two modules based on different data sources and I had the complete ownership of one of them. The module I handled had a total of 28 domains each of which required individual IDD forms, userexits, cleanse functions and workflows assigned to them and also, on the ETL portion, I’ve been responsible for creating the Interface for 14 of the domains. Following lists my responsibilities in details:
• Create Technical Specification Documents based on the Functional Requirements.
• Creating the data model for the development.
• Creating Base Objects, Landing & Staging tables, Mappings and Packages(Display, Put, IDD, AVOS)
• Creating Forms and applying necessary validations based on requirements using cleanse functions and IDD Userexits.
• Creating Virtual lookups and dependent lookups using BDD config.
• Customized validation messages display.
• Creating one-step approval workflow using ActiveVOS with both group approval and specific approval functionalities. (Java enabled Orchestration Project with email functionality).
• Creating IDD userexits to apply validations as per requirement.
• Creating ETL Interfaces( Mappings and Sessions)
• Unit testing and documenting Unit test cases.
• Presenting demo and code review to the Client.
Project: FP&A: D&G
Role: Informatica Developer, Documentation.
Duration: June, 2016 to Sept, 2016
Key Responsibilities:
• Create Technical Specification Document based on the Functional Requirements.
• Modify existing Data Model to incorporate changes in the system.
• Create new Subject Area and child screen for the new form and apply necessary properties to the fields.
• Creating Landing and Staging tables with different column properties like lookups, cleanse functions etc.
• Create one-step approval workflow in ActiveVOS for the approval process.( Java enabled Orchestration Project with email functionality)
• Hierarchy Configuration for group to group and group to node hierarchy structure.
• IDD Userexits using Java for applying necessary validations to form fields, and “send for approval”, open, save, and task handling.(Java)
• Responsible for Data load to MDM starting with running ETL workflows to Stage and Load Jobs.
• Technical Specification and code review demonstrations to client.
Project: FP&A: Transformation
Role: Informatica Developer, Documentation.
Duration: Jan, 2016 to May, 2016
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze functional design document
• Creating and modifying existing Cleanse functions as per the new business requirements
• Creating and modifying existing roles and permission setting of each, based on business requirement.
• Creating new packages(IDD and AVOS) based on requirement.(SQL)
• Using IDD userexits (Java) to process and apply filters to the form data submitted by the user.
• Using various SIF calls. (Database connectivity SIF APIs)
• Worked on multiple handler classes using userexits and assisted in splitting one task into multiple at a particular level based on requirement.(Java)
• Brief exposure to SOAP UI on using different requests like PUT, DELETE (XML) etc.
• Creating one-step and two-step approval workflows using ActiveVOS (Java enabled Orchestration project with email functionality).
• Testing multiple functionalities of the project and fixing defects as well as adding enhancements at the UAT level.
The project I worked on was a Master Data Management Project for an UK based FMCG manufacturing company. We created a database of "Golden Records" of the product information of our client in the typical Master Data Management skeleton. Apart from regular Golden record manipulation, we also integrated digital asset management as a major part of this project.
I have owned the following responsibilities in the project :
• Creating Export templates for different Retailers as per specifications.
• Creating Manual templates.
• Adding functionalities to the tool by creating customized plug-ins using Java.
• Adding post processing to the templates.
• Email notification
• Web UI modifications
• Creating and modifying the Repository properties file
• Assortment creation.
• Certain portions of the import operations.
• Plug-in analysis and debugging for upgradation to PIM v8.
• Shortly worked with REST API URLs on PIOTI section of the project.
