Major Ongoing Projects includes Tarbela Tunnel 4 Extension Project of 1410 MW and Neelum Jehlum Project of 969 MW. This job includes review of Bidding Documents, Bid Drawings and review of Design Criteria submitted by the Consultants for Major components of Power House Intake Structures, Forebay, Penstaock and allied Structures related to Switchyard and Grid Stations of Power House.

Quality Assessor Ghazi Baotha Hydropower Project at Pakistan Hydro Consultants (PHC)

Monitored the implementation of the PHC (Engineer) Quality System Documentation at site locations for Ghazi Barotha Hydropower Project (Civil Works US$ 1.5 Billion/1450 MW) and carried out review of quality records being generated, to verify their compliance with Contract Specifications, Construction drawings and quality system documents of PHC & Contractor. The job also included monitoring the implementation of the Contractor’s Method Statements and Work Procedures at site locations and carried out review of their quality records in liaison with Contractor’s QA Inspectors. Moreover liaised with PHC team members at Project locations to establish and monitor the implementation of their specific contribution to PHC Quality System. Also was responsible to assist Quality System Manager for annual quality Audit of the Engineer and the Contractor.

Deputy Director Contracts at Water & Power Development Authority

Prepared budget estimates and assisted Chief Engineer in Technical & Civil Contractual matters. The job included contract evaluation, enlistment of Contractor, technical verification of interim payment certificate (IPC), scrutiny of Invoices for local consultants, withdrawal application of foreign Consultants, progress invoices of foreign consultants and review of rates for varied items. Also analyzed and processed Amendment No. 3 for additional resources of Consultants including their additional Man-months and transport requirements. Moreover involved in review of technical matters such as vetting of technical specifications. Prepared tender documents for additional storage sheds amounting to US$ 1.5 million and carried out its evaluation. Worked on structural design of different components of Industrial Buildings including multi storied concrete buildings, overhead and under ground storage reservoirs and cement silos etc

Carried out Structural design of 7000, 5000 and 2000 metric tonn capacity oil storage steel tanks and prepared construction drawings in Multan, Faislabad and Lahore. Further assisted the aforementioned Contractors in approval of the design from the Employer.
