Responsible for manufacturing operations.

- Leading the production team of more than 30 people, involved in production of complex aerospace equipment of the highest quality standards. - Maintaining productivity and effectiveness of aerospace manufacturing operation resources, facilities, capabilities and systems. - Accountable to ensure safe production operations on daily basis with best work practices and schedule compliance. - Responsible to create, co-ordinate and communicate detailed production plans resulting in daily schedule, cost adherence and production improvements. - Responsible to ensure personnel skill development in order to perform work assignment per schedule commitments by providing them with liaison support, coaching, direction and training. - Leading CIT (continuous improvement team) in implementing lean manufacturing methodologies for continuous improvements. - Work with Quality Engineers, Liaison Engineers & Program Assurance Project Management teams to plan and manage all quality related issues and internal audit activities which includes audit preparations and schedules, review of audit reports and follow up on non-conformances. - Resource reviews/allocations to execute programs and generation of staff performance appraisals. - Manage costs and schedules for assigned programs. - Lead design and development activities as assigned by Project Management Office including breadboards. - Extensive hands on experience in lean systems, six sigma and TOC (theory of constraints) - Generation and monthly review of production metrics (i.e. productivity, cost, quality & schedule)

- Resource planning, management and monitoring of production lines involved in testing, getting CSA approval of automated equipment and hardware components prior to delivery to customers.
- Work with the development team to ensure the compliance of firmware version control and integration of hardware as per set quality standards & validation.
- Supervise and monitor training sessions for quality documentation review and review open product non-compliance with technical staff. Generate monthly performance reports for senior management review.
- Lead the team involved in performing required tracking and review of specifications for accuracy in order to meet customer needs. Ensure required support for design verification & validation activities.
- Ensure program compliance to quality assurance plans and product development life cycle processes, and ensuring corrective action where necessary.
- Monitor a team of technical support for products including I/O modules, CNC equipment installation and service activities.
- Management of logistical support which includes packaging coordination with shipping & receiving department.

- Worked as a production/engineering supervisor to ensure the smooth production operations.
- Lead the team of engineering staff involved in setup of Machine Readable Passports (MRP) system design, commissioning of equipment, integration and RFID development.
- Responsibilities included directing technical staff for maintenance of automated equipment, planning day to day production, statistical measures and quality review.
- Liaison with PMO team to assist in project development (i.e. MRP, ABC, Integrated Security and Access control, VIN, etc)
- R & D to increase productivity, optimum performance and feasibility study for other commercial projects
- Extensive working experience in ISO 9000/Ver2000 and ASTM (quality standards)
- Staff management, performance review and monthly metrics for senior management (SMT).
- Monthly review of project health, cost, training initiatives and EH & S (environment, health and safety) related issues.

- Worked as an engineering specialist to setup avionics production line for the production of highly sophisticated communication equipment.
- Created production layouts for electronic, mechanical and electromechanical sub-assemblies for various product types.
- Supervised team of more than 10 assembler involved in soldering and assembly activities.
- Worked with quality assurance management team to prepare standard operating procedures and work instructions.
- Chaired weekly production quality meetings and manufacturing readiness review meetings.
- Worked with R & D team to troubleshoot encoding issues and setup a diagnostic system for quick turn-around on highly complex modules.
- Contributed in cost saving initiatives, setup of flow lines for LRU (line replaceable units) and continuous improvements.
