•• Assists with the operations, maintenance, and repair activities of water and distribution system
• Working knowledge of water distribution systems .Water diverting by operating butterfly valves. but not limited to wells, pumps and distribution piping, valves, fire hydrants and flow control devices
• Working knowledge of operating Butterfly Valve like 800 mm, 600 mm, 400 mm during Emergency water network breakdown
• Water line Pressure monitoring
• Administered the mainline valve to ensure the smooth flow of water to the areas
• Inspected all the water pipes to ensure any leakage, connected and disconnected the pipes
• Good experience in measuring instruments such as hydrostatic testing and pressure gauge.
• Decision-making in concurrence with the Technicians
• Schedule meter reading routes to optimize efficiency.
• Perform an average of 30-40 individually addressed connects, disconnects and customer service inquiries per 4 hour work period.
• Excellent knowledge of the principles, methods and techniques used in the pipefitting trade.
• Profound knowledge of tools and equipment of the trade and skill in their safe use.
• Measured and marked pipes for cutting threading
• Threaded pipe, Bended pipe using pipe threading machine accurately
• In-depth ability to work effectively with little or no supervision
• Emergency call duty Maintenance
• Ensures that work areas are clean, orderly and safe
• Keeps Engineer informed of activities, needs and problems
• Maintained the records of meters readings and various meter installations and the repair work carried on it.
• Excellent knowledge in Ms Excel (Designing, preparing & calculating, daily log, weekly, monthly report with graphical chart as per field requirement )
• Complete monthly reading cycles for pre-determined schedules
• Weekly meetings with general contractor and sub schedule
• Laid out full scale drawings of pipe systems, supports, and related equipment, following blueprints
• Safety awareness and implementation of safety procedures
• Coordinate with Subcontractors and other contractors on overlay drawings as well as joint schedule work arrangement
• Operation & maintenance the pump station
• Monitoring of all the activities by SCADA system (water production, distribution, pressure monitoring, pump operations and all the trands )
