Responsible for development, implementation and maintenance of Quality Management Systems as per ISO 9001:2015, API Q1 9th Edition in Apollo Group of Companies (Apollo Machine and Welding, Apollo Laser and Cladding, Apollo Threading, And Alberta Industrial Heat Treating Facilities)
•Conducting analysis of data and preparing monthly quality reports of all facilities for the higher management
• Conducting ISO 9001:2015 and API Q1 9th Edition Internal audits and coordinating during the conduction of all External audits for the facilities
•Dealing with the main Customers for resolving NCR issues by submitting Request for assistance (Halliburton) and Deviation waiver request (Baker Hughes- GE)
•Submitting 8D reports for all Customer notifications and implementing Corrective actions in timely manners
•Monitoring and keeping Quality objectives (Number of external NCR's, Scrap cost, PPM etc.) within targets set by the Management team.
Responsible to prepare, implement and control ISO 9001-2015 procedures
•Presenting monthly reports of Warranty analysis, Scrap cost and Top five quality issue to higher management
•Responsible for Production quality control, updating Quick problem solving boards with top issues and schedule meetings with management
•Monitoring Material Review Board for disposition of nonconforming parts, and controlling corrective and preventive action process
•Representing Quality department in APQP process to ensure the new product meets quality goals and member of Early warning Review team visiting customers in North America to gather information and report to design engineers to modify the product design
•Lead the team in Welding inspection and conduct training programs to educate welders for compliance with codes and standards (W47.1, W59), also assisting in preparing the Welding procedures
•Coordinate with Design engineers to conduct Product Validation for new products and follow up with corrective and preventive actions
•Resolved technical issues in Hydraulic cylinders, welding techniques and walking beam failure that reduced customer warranty claims by 70% saving thousands of dollars
Liaise between Q.A., Engineering, Manufacturing and Suppliers to resolve the quality issues
•Monitoring selection of items to be inspected, sample sizes and verifying the quality of incoming parts
•Responsible for monitoring Quality boards located in production departments to check that they are current, clean and legible
•Assisted production to implement Kanban and FIFO Inventory management process to ensure that material and components are consumed first in/first out throughout the production process
•Responsible for verifying non-conformance's and implementing corrective and preventive actions
•Expertly manipulated run charts to uncover increased incidences of non-conformities during night shifts and improved the quality of products
Directed a diverse team in inspections and approvals of assorted intricate electronics while conforming to industry and corporate standards
•Assisted production department to implement 5S to organize work space for efficiency and effectiveness by identifying items, also audited the process and provided approval at each step
•Coordinated with production to monitor product identification process to ensure that all components and products are identified at all times throughout the production processes
•Represented Quality department at weekly production meetings and articulately presented findings from reports, while taking charge to lead execution of recommended corrective actions
