Achievements
The project first phase completed successfully in 2016 by mobilizing over 1, 600, 000 women, forming over 49, 500 community group for empowerment, coordination and liaison with local NGOs and public sector programme and skill enhancement, liaison with stakeholders, admitting over 1, 300, 000 out of schools children in schools under the programme for meeting the SDGs-4 and over 1, 300, 000 children benefited Rs.250/month stipend on quarterly compliance monitoring of attendance. For the smooth post programme and future empowerment developed linkages of beneficiaries with the local government tehsil level coordination for early resolution of the issues at grassroots. Based on the accomplishments the programme is extended for further support and transition to government- BISP and education department and coalition with other government health and youth loan scheme programmes.

Had meeting with government and drug regulatory authority for the inclusion of MVA and other drugs in the Essential Drug and equipment list of Pakistan. Apart from this revised the nursing curriculum for inclusion of post-abortion care in the theoretical and practical sessions. Developed linkages with the tertiary, secondary care hospital and midwives clinics for handling emergencies. Under Packard project trained district hospital Chakwal and nursing school for the post-abortion safe services provision. Developed public private partnership for provision of state of art services.
