Position:Local Purchasing Manager.

Duties and responsibilities:

 forecasting levels of demand for services and products to meet the business needs and keeping a constant check on stock levels;
 conducting research to ascertain the best products and suppliers in terms of best value, delivery schedules and quality;
 liaising between suppliers, manufacturers, relevant internal departments and customers;
 identifying potential suppliers, visiting existing suppliers, and building and maintaining good relationships with them;
 negotiating and agreeing contracts and monitoring their progress, checking the quality of service provided;
 processing payments and invoices;
 keeping contract files and using them as reference for the future;
 forecasting price trends and their impact on future activities;
 giving presentations about market analysis and possible growth;
 developing an organization’s purchasing strategy;
 producing reports and statistics using computer software;
 evaluating bids and making recommendations based on commercial and technical factors;
 ensuring suppliers are aware of business objectives;
 attending meetings and trade conferences;
 Training and supervising the work of other members of staff.
 Managing Marketing research and customer surveys.
 Involved in the Creation and executing interactive Marketing Strategies in order to deliver measurable solutions and achieve client objectives.
 Supervising Forklift’s mechanical Parts and maintenance on regular basis.
 Supervising the cash vans regular checkup and buying there spare parts as per the requested standards.

BESIDE, WORKING INTO2 PROJECTS:-


A: Rice & Sugar Project
 Part of the operations & commercial start-up.
 Build the concept design & material flows.
 Study and making plan for Rice and Sugar project (warehouse and Factories).
 Supervise for purchase the project material.
 Supervise the installation of racking system (by Fifo System satellite which means First in first out), palletizer, packing machine, filling machine, industrial doors, dock leveler and dock shelter.
 Supervision and management of all staff of the project which will work under WMS System since the beginning of the initial operation Project on behalf of the owners.
 Flow up on the official document & approvals required from government & entities .
 Getting the tax and customs fees exemption approval from the “Jordan investment commission”.
 Implement the best practice & up to date storage & handling equipment.


B: Silo Project
 Part of the operations & commercial start-up.
 Build the concept design & material flows.
 Study and making plan for Soya mill project for animal feed.
 Supervise for purchase the project material.
 Supervise the installation of silos and various electrical panels.
 Supervision and management of all staff silos since the beginning of the initial operation Project on behalf of the owners.
