• Responsible for the overall operation and maintenance of the Mechanical system including pumps, fire pumps, waste water systems, gate barriers, motorized doors, water features, irrigation systems, district cooling, steam system and associated systems.
• Take charge of all improvement and project works related to mechanical systems to ensure seamless integration to existing network.
• Manage, monitor and improve FM contractors’ maintenance delivery while ensuring compliance with best mechanical industry practices, local and international standards.
• Prepare, coordinate and assist in the preparation of Budgets, special reports, presentation, approval processes, technical specification, facilities management contract documents, tender documents, operation and maintenance manuals.

To supervise and control the maintenance, repair and testing of a wide range of mechanical equipment in a safe manner, in accordance with procedures and accepted technical standards.
The equipment includes, but not limited to cooling towers, condensers & chilled water pumps, Tertiary pumps, ozone generators, air compressors, fire pumps, water treatment systems, Sanitary fixtures, vacuum pumps, wet and dry sprinkler systems, pipework related to water and irrigation systems and associated equipment like motorized valves, etc.
Strong knowledge of all rotating equipment’s (Pumps & compressors)
The implementation of preventive & corrective maintenance activities for all the mechanical equipment’s (Pumps, compressors, engines, gear reducers & valves)
Analyze breakdowns, diagnose faults and supervise time-critical equipment repairs.
Schedule and obtain project material and manpower
Creating Root cause analysis for the equipment breakdown cases.

Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, specifications, and computer-generated reports. Investigate equipment failures and difficulties to diagnose faulty operation, and make necessary recommendations and design modifications to eliminate machine or system malfunctions. Preventive and corrective maintenance including of repairs of the systems covered by the maintenance section in accordance with the instructions given by the superior personnel. Assessed feasibility, costs and maintenance requirements of different designs and applications. Coordinated and optimized production, selecting methods and fabrication strategies to match design standards.
