• Spearheaded the migration project for the company from its existing financial system to Oracle HRMS 11i on payroll and procurement modules.
• Attended to all senior management functions in the absence of the CFO and participated in the activities of the tender committee.

• In charge of critical functions of complex accounting procedures encompassing, operation and auditing of accounts transactions related to accounts payable and administration of payroll.
• Verified the accuracy and conformance of financial transactions to prevalent statutory regulations, maintained records and facilitated audits as required on a periodical basis.
• Coordinated logging of records in market transaction registers, performed reconciliations, variance analysis, transaction reporting and executed various management advisory functions.
• Maintained responsibilities for GL, budgets, customer accounts and fixed assets, followed settlements and checked supporting documents for all expenditures.
• Performed bank reconciliation’s, arranged L/G's, managed benefits administration and prepared the company's integrated financial statements.

• Served as part of the finance management team in charge of upgrading the Oracle 11 system to Oracle 11i and initiated tests to track its efficiency.
• Recognized as a Certified Cost Accountant in February 2004 and successfully passed 4 out of 5 SOCPA subjects.
• Rendered expertise in the migration of infrastructure from the old MCBA system to the new Oracle Financials finance system and smoothed out differences in interface.
• Oversaw reconciliation and assets tagging of the fixed assets, prepared for forthcoming assets distribution between the company and its gold subsidiary.
• Received appreciation letter from the VP Finance for the monthly closing of the company’s accounts in 5 days.
