• Oversaw all departmental operations with a team of 5 under purview and handled areas of A/R, general ledger, fixed asset management and budgetary reporting.
• Spearheaded the migration project for the company from its existing financial system to Oracle HRMS 11i on payroll and procurement modules.
• Attended to all senior management functions in the absence of the CFO and participated in the activities of the tender committee.
• Received appreciation letters from the HR Manager and the GM for excellent performance and implementation support during phase I of the project.
• Participated in the Oracle Financial 11i multi organizational implementation project named “Enjaz” that became the fastest ERP implementation in KSA and worldwide simultaneously in two companies over a span of 35 days.
• Steered the team towards designing a chart of accounts for Tadawul and SSRC comprising the design and identification of customized reports and mapping of historical data.
• Directed the reorganization of fixed assets to match the parameters of the Oracle system records for two companies namely Tadawul and SSRC in addition to achieving the target of five days maximum monthly closing period.

• Managing all transactions pertinent to accounts payable and payroll functions, reviewing and approving all invoices and accounting entries in the Oracle system.
• Handling broad spectrum payroll and payments, GOSI transactions, costing, provisions, employees’ loans and medical insurance premiums in addition to holding signing authority for cheques and transfer of all amounts below SAR 6 Mio .
• Scrutinizing and approving the weekly expenses, exchange rates, accredited list of suppliers and reviewing report provisions pertaining to withholding of tax from suppliers.
• Ensuring all payments have been made according to terms of agreed contracts, reviewing monthly schedules of expenses and transferring all accounting entries expenses to the general ledger on a weekly basis.

Responsibilities: - As Specialist - Accounts Payable and Payroll
• In charge of critical functions of complex accounting procedures encompassing, operation and auditing of accounts transactions related to accounts payable and administration of payroll.
• Verified the accuracy and conformance of financial transactions to prevalent statutory regulations, maintained records and facilitated audits as required on a periodical basis.
• Coordinated logging of records in market transaction registers, performed reconciliations, variance analysis, transaction reporting and executed various management advisory functions.
• Maintained responsibilities for GL, budgets, customer accounts and fixed assets, followed settlements and checked supporting documents for all expenditures.
• Performed bank reconciliation’s, arranged L/G's, managed benefits administration and prepared the company's integrated financial statements.

• Served as part of the finance management team in charge of upgrading the Oracle 11 system to Oracle 11i and initiated tests to track its efficiency.
• Recognized as a Certified Cost Accountant in February 2004 and successfully passed 4 out of 5 SOCPA subjects.
• Rendered expertise in the migration of infrastructure from the old MCBA system to the new Oracle Financials finance system and smoothed out differences in interface.
• Oversaw reconciliation and assets tagging of the fixed assets, prepared for forthcoming assets distribution between the company and its gold subsidiary.
• Received appreciation letter from the VP Finance for the monthly closing of the company’s accounts in 5 days.

• Formulated the all fixed assets reports, prepared bank reconciliations and performed cost allocation between various departments.
• Monitored the capital budget through the AFE module, added new assets to the fixed assets allocation, prepared monthly depreciation estimates and was part of the annual budget preparation team.
• Supervised the inventory accounts reconciliation for 3 of the company controlled mines in Al-Mahd, Al-Hajar and Al-Amar.
