Switchgear Testing and Commissioning

Electrical Test

• Contact resistance and Insulation resistance test for CB and bus bar.
• Relays Test.
• Current transformer test. (CT ratio, primary winding resistance.
• Volt transformer test.
• Trip test for ACB and MCCB breakers by using PR010.
• Testing and configuration for ABB Soft Starter.
• Primary injection test.
• Motor solo run test.

Functional Test

• Functional Test for (breakers, Relays, Soft Starter)
• ATS Functional Test.

Maintenance and Troubleshooting

• Preventive maintenance for LV switchgears.
• Ability for troubleshoot electrical problems by multi-meter (continuity and voltage tracing to troubleshoot faulty system)
• Familiar with circuit breakers protection (LSIG)
