Till present I have a variety of tasks which require putting the customer first at all times and identifying customer needs promptly and accurately. I provide advice, present the products and promote all special offers and offer related sales and services in order the customer is fully aware of the range and to increase the sale value. I meet customer requirements by accurately calculating, checking goods prior to sale and packaging correctly in order to deliver customer satisfaction and reduce unnecessary loss. Ensure all stock is clearly and correctly priced. Ensure that all till operation, cash handling procedures and transactions are carried out accurately according to Company Policy.
I had a variety of tasks and responsibilities which included selling used cars, supervised the embarkation of the cars into the containers to load, ensuring safety of the staff and goods during embarkation. In charge of maintaining and updating records of the quantity of goods sold, containers loaded and customer data, measuring and calculating the costs of cubic metres of materials loaded to verify the prices and submit the quotations to the clients/customers. Ensuring clients as well as customer service levels were maintained according to the expected standards.
I worked as an assisting manager to the owner of the petrol station mentioned above. I was responsible to go to the designated filling stations to collect the money made for that day and would measure the amount of litres remaining in the underground tank for petrol, diesel and kerosene. The following days, I was required to go to the petrol depots and order the fuel needed and make the payment. I was entrusted with the finances, where I would do the calculations of how much litres were sold with the amount of money accumulated for each day. And final responsibility was to deliver the monthly wages to the staff at the different work stations.
I took a short course of Business Administration. It has really helped to develop my practical managerial skills, communication skills and business decision-making capability. Having had practical experience when working in Mwandege Filling Station has made me fully grasp and understand the functional areas of a company, and their interconnection. Subjects Included: Principles of Management, Business Mathematics, Financial Management, Development Studies
I was educated in the academy from grade 8 to 13. Completed O Levels and A Levels. We covered wide variety of subjects including Mathematics, English, Civics, History and Sciences. For my A' Levels, I focused more on the science. Skills Developed: In my last two years of school, I became the patron of my section, where I was allotted responsibility over my school mates ensuring they followed the boarding school and dormitory rules. I also assisted the students with part time tutoring and took it as a personal duty to support them.
