Project Scope:
Construction and manufacturing projects, including the Construction of Emirate Global Alumina Refinery (including all Structural, Mechanical & Piping works; Tank Fabrication; Flash Vessels Installation, Bauxite Gantry installation, Substation Assembly, Installation of Jacket Steam Piping Units, Smelter Complex, Raw Caustic Storage Tanks, Evaporation Units, Heat Exchangers, Civil Works) for client: ‘Bechtel-Petrofac’ JV/Emirate Global Alumina EGA, as well as operations at 3x fabrication yards.

• Managing the risk assessment process for multiple projects as well as setting and implementing site / project HSE policies, procedures and systems and ensuring adherence by all site staff and sub-contractors throughout all stages of delivery
• Setting HSE policies and procedures at the start of each project, including handling liaison with internal and external teams to gather project specifications and enable effective assessment of risk and development of HSE procedures, systems and documents
• Managing HSE projects budgets of up to USD $100k, including controlling HSE resources and reporting on budget variance.
• Ensuring adherence to HSE requirements for site teams on each work site through conducting regular inspections, reporting issues identified and delivering additional training to site staff as required.
• Verifying compliance of SOPs and HSE documentation for all subcontractors as well as ensuring subcontractors compliance with site HSE policies and procedures throughout all stages of project delivery, acting as the HSE interface with third party contractors at all stages of the lifecycle.
• Leading delivery of Project orientation & Safety Induction Training for site staff and subcontractors at all work sites, including delivering Toolbox Talks and Safety Meetings.
• Conducting regular audit inspections as well as handling high-profile incident investigations using Root Cause Analysis, 5 Y sequence, Tripod Beta techniques, recording details of lessons learned and feeding-back to senior management.
• Managing certifications and licences, including liaison with external regulatory and certification bodies; includes control / review of Safety and Quality Management Systems such as ISO 9001:2015 / ISO 45001:2018 .
• Handle client liaison, including conducting site visits as well as regular attendance of HSE meetings to discuss HSE performance and resolve issues arising; advising on HSE matters to ensure compliance.
• Performance Evaluation using Gap analysis, Hazard Mapping and event trending and BOW-TIE analysis, reporting on performance to the Board, clients and local regulating authorities
Client: Abu Dhabi Company for Onshore Petroleum - ADCO, United Arab Emirates.
Project Scope:
- Shut Down and Turnaround maintenance of 3No Remote Degassing stations RDS.
- Laying of 56km Gas lines andFabrication/installation of steel pipe racks and glass-epoxy for produce water re-injection.
- Sub-surface Location and identification of Five Multi Selector manifolds (MSM) in existing Remote Degasing Stations (RDSs).
- Identification and conversion of Twenty Seven (27) nos. of existing oil Producers to Gas lift (GL) wells and Tie-in to Lift Gas flow lines.
- Identification of the Tie-in locations of Three (3) nos. of new Produced Water Re-Injection (PWRI) wells including their respective manifolds.
- Identification and conversion of Six (6) nos. existing water injection wells and Produced Water Injection (PWRI) Wells to WAG wells.
