• Overlooking the Implementation of Oracle E- Business Suite
• Setting up of the IT-Infrastructure required for the Software.
• Managing the Technical Support activities for the Pharmatrade Group.
• Implementing the IT Policies for the Pharmatrade group.
• Implemented the Process driven activities for the Technical support dept.
• Implemented the Office automation purchase Process for the Group.
Vision insurance was a new firm launched in Jan 2008, during this period I had executed the initial setting up of the IT-infrastructure including the Telephone, Office automation, Servers, Network & Insurance Application software-PREMIA.
We had 5 locations around Oman, the setting up of connectivity for these locations were also completed during this tenure.
• Managing the development team discussing the concepts & logics for the development of modules / requirements.
• Planning, preparing & executing the Implementation plan for ERP
• Conducting Project management meetings to update & review the Project plan.
• Presentation & demonstration of ERP system to the prospective customers.
• Preparing proposals along with the detail study to the existing support customers for the new developments
• Assisting the sales Team in preparing proposals to the Prospective Customers
• Handling Oracle DBA activities
The job had various assignments associated with it; Handling the Pre-sales - Presentation of ERP to Prospective Customers, Handling various clients
Support requirements/Problem solving with a team of 8 staffs (analyst programmers). Planning & executing the ERP System feature upgrades, developing it utilizing the 8 existing resources. There were around 40 + customers in Muscat, Kuwait & Qatar. I have sound Finance & accounting Knowledge & involve in the Consultation on Financials of ERP system.
Presentation/Demonstration of the ERP system (TIMICS) to the Prospective Customers (pre-sales). Managing the complete Project Development/implementation from the initiation to the closing of the Project using the quality project management templates. Conducting Project management meetings with the customers periodically for updating & reviewing the project plans.
