My main role is the company's CTO "Chief Technical Officer", edTOMO, INC. stands for Education for Tomorrow, a newly developed online e-learning platform from scratch by me. A project took about 1 and 1/2 year to build/develop.
I am responsible for the following: The Product Search Engine Optimization, Identifying, technical solutions, Troubleshooting,
Web graphics, Bug fixing, Building templates, Maintaining data integrity, and Building functionality.
Our competitors are: Blackboard "BB", Canvas, Sakai and Haiku.
My duties were:
01- Updating and monitoring IT user accounts.
02- Maintenance & management of the Critical Windows based Server Environment.
03- Maintaining up to date Antivirus levels on all machines company wide.
04- Working on Active Directory accounts, configuration of Blackberrys, Androids & laptops.
05- Managing and monitoring of backups in multiple locations.
06- Providing maintenance support and break-fix solutions.
07- Follow Documented processes i.e. implementing change control procedures.
08- Liaising & meeting with external suppliers of IT services.
09- Producing reports for upper management.
10- Troubleshooting technical problems and implementing solutions.
11- Purchasing of IT Equipment and software in line within agreed budgets.
12- Supporting a multi-site IT infrastructure of at least 100 employees.
13- Responsible for the fast and accurate troubleshooting of reported faults.
14- Providing technical support via helpdesk systems for a wide range of internal & external applications.
Was responsible and created the following:
01- Multi-color flyers, bi-fold and tri-fold brochures, information pamphlets, movie posters, magazines covers and layouts, commercial advertisements and user guides booklets.
02- Worked with clients to enhance content through visually appealing layout and enhanced text effects.
03- Designed and produced a variety of ads, large-prints in/out-doors, and other creative projects for local distribution.
04- Designed and adapted graphics for use on the web.
05- Designed personal/business logos, presentation folders, corporate identities, and commercial advertisements.
06- Produced super-size commercial outdoors/indoors for Mercedes Benz, BMW, Volkswagen, Carrier, JAC, HSBC and more.
07- Designed various commercial magazine covers, business cards, logos and letterheads, invitation cards, posters etc…
08- Commercial Studio Back-Stage Shot(s)/Photography for TVC for example: “Ceramica Royal 2007-2008”
