Master Thesis: Numerical Optimization of A Cruciform Specimen For A Thermoplastic Composite
Under Multiaxial Load.
o Conducted research to find the optimal design of a cruciform specimen for a thermoplastic
composite material through a numerical simulation using ABAQUS CAE
o Wrote literature review on different biaxial tests applied to composite materials, the behavior of
thermoplastic composites under multiaxial load, and the importance of the biaxial test using
cruciform specimens
o Designed the cruciform specimen on ABAQUS CAE
o Researched data and implemented it in the numerical simulation
o Optimized the design to be suitable for thermoplastic composites by testing the influence of
each design parameter on stress-strain concentrations
o Obtained promising results with stress concentrated in the gauge section
Zeenni's Trading Agency is a company responsible for the production of several chemical
products such as clipp as well as their bottles and many plastic and aluminum containers.
In this role, I was an assistant in the Laboratory and Research department of cosmetics and toiletries
o Performed numerous analytical tests using HPLC, FTIR, and GC
o Successfully performed routine tests for pH, viscosity, and heavy metals.

During this master's study, I was able to improve my research skills and increase my knowledge in materials science as well as processes. The projects I worked on were related to data analysis, material characterization, research and numerical simulation.
My university studies included the principles of chemistry as well as sustainability and environmental safety. It covered a variety of industrial processes and the processes applied in Oil and Gas refineries, in addition to, automation and maintenance of the processes. The projects I worked on varied between researching and presenting a certain topic to designing a process and a company. I was part to several trainings after class such as Arduino and Internet of Things training.
