• Review of documents during the engineering, procurement, installation and pre - commissioning and commissioning stage and ensure its compliance to project specification.
• Participate in risk assessment meetings and recommend mitigation action for disciplinary risks identified.
• Resolve issues at site related to safety and quality. Supervise and monitor contractor performance against work schedule and report the same.
• Ensure that QP safety regulation for contractors, project safety quality plans and QP/State of Qatar's environmental regulations are understood and followed by the contractors.
• Coordinate with other departments and contractors to resolve Engineering, interface and shut down activities.
• Review all project Method Statements, Pre commissioning and commissioning procedures and endorses red marked as built drawings and construction dossiers.
• Review all project Quality Control Plan.
• Encounter issues that are multi disciplinary while working as a construction focal point for a project.
• Analyses possible solutions to problems.
• Identify and notify project management about anticipated construction bottlenecks of assigned projects.
• Provide technical assistance to contractors and subordinate staff.
• Inspect construction works and materials in accordance with project quality plans and inspection and test plans (ITPs)
• Performing Raw Material Inspection, Material Test Certificate (MTC) verified with Standards, Ensuring the materials is received as per the standard requested in the purchase order, assuring all the activities are done as per the Standards & Codes and documented properly.
• Co-ordinate with concerned parties to resolve routine site issues and refer technical queries to Senior / Lead Construction Supervisor.
• Identify the joints to be made NDT according to the line designation and daily production, Ensure that only approved welding procedures are followed and welders are qualified.
• Witnessing Hydro test on piping system. Witnessing during fabrication Erection and welding of carbon steel tanks, review of test packs and Red marks and as built drawings, review of final inspection reports and released for Hydro test, Reviewing calibration certificates for welding equipment, Visual inspection for root & final pipe welding.
• Pre commissioning / Commissioning and closeout of Inspection Test Reports (ITR) . Co-ordinate with contractor, Certifying Authority and internal dept. Review of documents.
• Conducting in process welding related inspection such as fit up, ball test for confirmation of excess penetration, preheat check, visual inspection, and ensure the welder is qualified for that job and using the applicable.
• Upon completion of the project to prepare detailed project completion reports for management review and for future reference.

• Prepare and categories punch list and ensure that the contractors clear all punch list items.

• Co ordinate pre commissioning activities and assist during commissioning of facilities.

• Initiate Mechanical Completion Certificate (MCC), Taking Over Certificate (TOC), Acceptance Certificate (AC), and facilitate the issuance of Project Completion and Discharge Certificates.
