Review the Construction Contract and identify all the method statements required for the Project in relation to the Testing and Commissioning Works.
Review and ensuring that the Contractor's method statements, risk assessments etc. are being produced/written effectively and followed through in accordance with the Construction Contract documents and general best practice.
Review the Contractor's program for the Testing and Commissioning and ensure that the Testing and Commissioning Works are executed appropriately and in accordance with the approved program. Attending, witnessing and verifying/validating of Testing and Commissioning Works which shall include signing off inspection requests as submitted by the Contractor.
Independently designs building automation systems for large and/or complex buildings consisting of mechanical system layouts, electrical drawings, bill of materials, sequence of operations, valve and damper schedules, DDC panel layouts to meet the intent of the project plans, specifications and contract documents.
Designs mainly large complex building automation network architecture to support operator workstations, DDC field panels, third-party integration devices connected through LON, Ethernet, or BACNET.
Analysing plans, construction contract specifications and codes to determine project requirements and risks.
Generating DDC point database on all projects. Provides start-up and checkout documentation to the Project Manager and system specialist for use in commissioning and validation.
Prepared engineering re-estimate and follows up with appropriate sales and management to assure understanding of and satisfaction with job scope.
Prepared specifications and drawings for special components and panels purchased from outside suppliers. Selects proper types and sizes of company products and outside suppliers to meet project requirements. Prepares all information on pre-installation extras or change orders to submit to customer or general/ subcontractor.
Plans, schedules, conduct, and coordinate assigned engineering work
Ensures effective communication and coordination on assigned projects between all disciplines and all other project participants
Day-to-day interaction with the Client’s designated representative as well as coordination of all internal activities
Float enquiries, technical & commercial evaluation of offers, negotiation, prepare purchase order, commercial contracts
Factory inspection and expediting of project equipment
Participating in Client/contractor meetings and resolving Client/engineering and management project issues.
Provide supervision for the installation work in term of proper method,
Maintained a close supervision with various disciplines, main contractors and sub-contractors regarding the installation methodologies before installation.
Pivotal in ensuring that the construction issued drawings are as per scope of works.
Ensured the adherence to the HSE requirements a the project site.
Monitors work for compliance to applicable codes, accepted engineering practices
Coordination of all technical activities on assigned projects.
Responsible and accountable to ensure that all assigned personnel are coordinating their activities with other project participants, and that the requirements of the Contract are being satisfied
Monthly project status reports.
Preparing documents for 21CFR validation.
