• Leading procurement of Turnaround materials of over 10, 000 line items involving myriad of OEMS and Global Suppliers.
• Responsible for all types of Procurement activities related to Engineering, Maintenance, EPC, Supply Chain, IT, General Services and Consultancy Services. The estimated value of procurement portfolio varies from US$ 50 MM to USD 100 MM.
• Procurement portfolio includes Pipes, Fittings, Flanges, Valves & other mechanical, electrical, instrument spares, Long Lead Items (LLIs) and Chemicals / Catalysts for Oil & Gas upstream & downstream operations and chemical projects.
• Review and finalize scope of work, specifications and deliverables to be contracted / ordered and apply the most favorable terms in line with company policies and procedures.
• Prepare tendering Strategies and ITT (invitation to tender) documents in coordination with end user / project team and obtain necessary approvals to issue the tender.
• Conduct technical & commercial clarifications and evaluations involving comparison of prices, analysis of Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and select most competitive bidder.
• Lead negotiations with suppliers to obtain maximum value for money, quality and delivery objectives.
• Ensure compliance of material testing and quality inspection requirements during procurement process.
• Prepare Purchase orders & service contracts in SAP for various materials & services required while complying with company / Government policies and procedures.
• Prepare change / variation orders for materials & services Purchase orders in coordination with end user / project team, obtain necessary approvals and update the same in SAP
• Successfully procured 2-years spares of over $ 68 Million for Liwa Plastics project as per (SPIRs) and recorded savings of over $ 11.0 Million.
• Successfully completed procurement of nil stock items worth $2.0 Million.
• Coordinate with logistics team for timely delivery of critical materials.
• Conduct analysis and report procurement activities with respect to transparency, due diligence and value for money.
• Developed models for analysis of data and presentations for Management to monitor KPIs and performance of procurement function.

• Periodically review to add potential cost-effective sources of supply by increasing bidder pool to increase competition that will reduce cost and achieve quality & delivery objectives.

• Responsible for procurement of various materials including casings, pipes & tubing, completion equipment for wells and other operational spares parts while complying with Company policy & Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) Rules.
• Moreover, responsible for supporting Maintenance & Operations department on long term materials contract for stock and Turnarounds materials.
• Lead end-to-end process of procurement of materials for upcoming exploration & development wells as per policy schedules at best prices and delivery objectives.
• Coordinate with End User departments to finalize scope of supply, objectives, tendering strategy for procurement of materials and services and obtain approval of respective tender committees.
• Assist End User section to carry out technical evaluations by arranging technical clarifications from bidders and arranging meetings whenever necessary.
• Carry out commercial clarifications and evaluations involving analysis of prices, Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), delivery and payment terms and select most competitive bidder.

• Led inventory optimization exercise and revised schedule holding levels of spares. Reduced inventory by USD 6 Million.
